Rehoboam and Jeroboam who did evil in the sight of the Lord

Grandson of David, Rehoboam was harsh to the people who came to him to request him to make their burdens less, so the people of Israel did not like and so did not follow him and instead wanted to follow Jeroboam. Now do we also sometimes speak harshly to for friends, colleges and family members.

Now the next part is interesting though Israel was given to Jeroboam he feared that the kingdom will be taken from him n be given to Rehoboam, so Jeroboam made a statue of 2 calves and made the people worship it. So the people forgot the living God and prayed to calves made of gold. Then the Lord was angry with him and he lost his son on account of this disobedience.

On the other hand Rehoboam also did what was evil in the sight of the Lord so a king named Shishak rose agains Rehoboam and carried away the treasures of the kings house and the shields of Gold that Solomon made.

Then what are you supposed to do and what will you choose today. Either you be like king David who worshiped God and asked pardon for all the wrong he did of be like Rehoboam and Jeroboam who did evil in the sight of the Lord.

Let’s note that we may be like King David to be assured that we have a share in God’s kingdom and to continue to be sons and daughters of the Only King Jesus. Let no depression, tension or anxiety captivate our hearts. Let us be joyful and rejoice in all that we have today and offer up all our sacrifices and sufferings to the Lord. Just as it is said in the Bible every mountain shall be made low and every valley leveled, so same way allow the Lord to change our Proud hearts 💓 and also if we are disheartened let’s remember that the Lord will make a way🔽 for us in all our problems and difficulties of life.

Just as the birds in the air don’t have to worry, so we too should stop worrying and rather put our Complete Trust in God as he is in worthy and blessed.

Let us All also, put in our very best to Love God by doing the things that are right and by asking God what is his will and by loving our fellow brothers and sisters by serving them, praying for them and thinking only good things about them. Amen
