The name of Jesus is my weapon
2 Chronicles 32:8
With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles.
When Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem, he strengthened himself, and encouraged the people saying:
Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him.
What is your weapon when you confront the enemy. Remember the weapon of the enemy is only flesh.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
Identify who exactly is your enemy and use the right weapon to attack him.
Abraham used the weapon of faith to overcome the enemy
Jacob used the weapon of prayer (wrestling with God) to overcome the enemy
Joseph used the weapon of holiness to overcome the enemy
David used the weapons of humility, long-suffering and obedience to overcome the enemy
Samson used the weapon of anointing to overcome the enemy
Habakkuk used the joy of the Lord as his weapon to overcome the enemy
Job used the weapon of integrity to overcome the enemy.
Jesus used the word of God as His weapon when confronted by devil in the wilderness.
The divine characters of God should be our weapon. Money, power and authorities may help you to some extent but they cannot give you complete victory over the enemy. The enemy can be in the form of sickness, poverty, reproach, etc. Our weapons should be Blood of Jesus, Word of God, Anointing of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s rely upon God like king Hezekiah. Remember that in the world is only flesh. But in you is the Spirit of God.
Stay Blessed 😊
