When we read the word, the Holy Spirit helps us to understand Gods will concerning us When we obey the word we grow in our relationship with Him God doesn’t need record breakers, He needs gospel sharers Christians witness in critical times.

Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned thirty one years in Jerusalem.

And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the ways of his father David, he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to the Lord with all his heart, with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses, nor after him did any arise like him.

2 Kings 22:1,2, 23:25
We serve a God who is the word ( Jesus ) and the word became flesh and dwelt amongst us. The above scripture portion tells us that Josiah a king from the descendants of David did what was right in the sight of the Lord, he tore his clothes when he heard the words from the book of the law and he humbled himself before the Lord and God took away the curse which was pronounced in his life time ( God and His word protects you not for a day or two but for an entire life time ).

There is nothing more precious in this world than God and His word, the word of God has the power to heal, deliver, prosper, increase our life span and protect us from any calamity that can come over us. God prevented and protected Josiah from seeing the curse become operative in his life time ( it came on others after him ) because after hearing the word he humbled himself ( humbleness prevents curses and destruction ).

The word of God is mirror, it will tell the truth about us, ( weaknesses, sins and mistakes ) it will show us the light and help us in our walk with God. If we have a listening ear and obeying heart then we will heed to the voice and word of God and we will read, listen meditate, pray and practice the word of God and when we do this not only us, but our generations will serve God and be blessed. Josiah after knowing the word of God came to know about sins, weaknesses and mistakes and he humbled himself and God gave him peace for his entire life time, and he was gathered to his father’s and there was no king before him and after him who put the word of God into practice with heart, soul and might.

One of the reasons why many of us suffer from problems is, because we don’t know the word of God and don’t know the benefits of the word of God. Every problem is lack of wisdom, word of God and faith problem. If we have wisdom in our problems we will turn to God and His word for help, when we read, listen, meditate, pray and practice the word of God then our faith will rise up and we will receive our miracle.

A person’s spiritual and maturity level is known by the level of the word of God inside of him. If a person has the word of God inside of him, then he can face any problem and challenges on the face of this earth, even if you lose anything and everything on this earth never leave the habit of reading, listening, meditating, praying and practicing the word of God. One word from God is more than enough, anything and everything, that is lost will come back searching for you in Jesus name.

Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for every man and woman of God who are sharing the word of God everyday and feeding many all over the globe with good spiritual food. Lord give everyone the grace to read, listen, meditate, pray and practice the word and let the word of God which is sown everyday fall on good ground and bring in a rich, bountiful harvest of souls in Jesus name we ask and pray.
