Peter’s heart with the vision to spread the Gospel

Acts 10:27-28
While talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.

In those days, Jewish people were prohibited from entering the house of a Gentile. But Peter entered a Gentile’s home because his heart and mind had changed and that he had learned the lesson from a vision that God showed him that he should not call any man common or unclean. Peter understood that the vision was about people, not food.

God prepared Peter’s heart with the vision to spread the Gospel to Gentiles.

God shows no partiality. In Deuteronomy 10:17, it is written, “For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.”

Whoever believes! Jew or Gentile; slave or free; white or black; good or wicked; rich or poor, all people need to be saved by coming to a living faith in a living Jesus Christ.
