God has a heart for those who are in need
Deuteronomy 24:19 “When you reap your harvest in your field and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it. It shall be for the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.”
God has a heart for those who are in need.
Over and over through the scriptures, God directs His people to follow and reflect His heart by standing up for those who are in need.
Their loving-kindness was to extend to those who were least among them… to the foreigner in their midst… to the orphan who was not their own flesh and blood… to the widow who was not their “responsibility.”
“Thoughtfulness with action” is called kindness.
kindness is demonstrated through our words and actions.
Kindness doesn’t come naturally, it is learned.
Our words show what is really in our hearts.
It’s impossible to speak kind words if we are filled with bad attitudes.
When we squeezed the dirty sponge, dirty water came out.
There was no way to get clean water out of that sponge!
We need to practice and take effort to build a habit of kindness.
God rewards our kindness not because we deserve it but because He delights to do so.
Praise God for His Loving kindness towards us….

Take a Break with Jesus in the Lockdown 🍞☕
Day 43, 270 Days Bible Reading, Wednesday, 26.8.20.
No Curse can operate in the Lockdown for those who are in Christ, as the Curse has been dealt with on the Tree…Deuteronomy 21:22-23
✝️According to the Law of Moses, if any person broke the law he was cursed by the law with a death penalty and hanged after being stoned to death. The dead body cannot be left hanging all night, but had to be buried as it will defile the the land God was giving as inheritance, Deutronomy 21:22-23.
Deutronomy 21:22-23, is the shadow of the cross, the tree of calvery and we can easily skip over these verses as it is tucked away and hidden among other verses.
✝️The New Testament becomes so rich when we understand that it is the Old Testament revealed. Galatians 3:10-14 has to be understood in the light of Deutronomy 21:23. Paul was writing to the foolish Galatians who were going back to being under the Law after experience the Grace of God’s Salvation. He was telling them that instead of living under the blessing through the grace of God, they were going back to living under the curse of the Law.
✝️Reading the Book of Deutronomy in this Lockdown, is a reminder how richly blessed we to rest in the finished work of the cross and let the cross do it’s work in our lives so that others will know why we are so blessed in this lockdown.
✝️Jesus could have been stoned to death according to the Jewish death penalty but that would not remove the curse that came upon us. He fulfilled the Old Testament Law and took every curse upon His Body, by hanging on the Cross, so that we can be Blessed. Jesus satisfied what the law required. He fulfilled all the requirements of the Law. He was the end of the Law, Romans 10:4.
✝️Jesus hanging on the tree was the proof of Him being made sin and a curse for His people, and that He bore the curse of the law for their sins, and that the taking of Him down from the tree, and burying Him, signified the removing the curse from Him and His people for whom He suffered, and by that, He redeemed them from the curse of the law, Galatians 3:10-14.
✝️Dear Child of God, Remember this, the Law, though Perfect,Good and Holy, Cannot Commend Men, But Can Only Condemn Them. Jesus has done a perfect and complete work on the Cross. All we have to do is Believe and Receive the Free gift of Salvation.
✝️Another Reason to Rejoice in this Lockdown is because every curse that should come upon us has been dealt with by Jesus who hung on the tree for us, so that we can receive the blessing of Abraham through Christ Jesus, Galatians 3:14….Amen🙏
