Promising Keeping God

The last book, the last chapter of the Torah ends with the fulfillment of God’s promise. To have a look at the promise we have to travel hundreds of years back when Abraham lived.

The Promise
📖 And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are-northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever (Gen 13:14, 15).

Later God confirmed the promise to Isaac, his son and Jacob, his grandson (Gen 26:3; 28:13).

The Fulfillment
The Lord showed Moses from the top of Pisgah, the land which He was giving to the Israelites.

📖 Then the LORD said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants (Deu 34:4).

What a glorious moment it would have been! God told Moses that He was fulfilling His promise made hundreds of years ago.

Promise keeping God
Our God is a promise keeping God. Abraham was fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform (Rom 4:21). Moreover it is impossible for God to lie (Heb 6:18). He who promised is faithful (Heb 10:23).

Dear ones in Christ, never ever doubt God and His word. If God has given you a specific promise He will surely fulfill it. Because God cannot lie and He is faithful to do what He has promised.

Do not lose hope in God and His promises. If God had fulfilled the promise given to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He will certainly fulfill what He has promised us. Pray His promises, confess His promises and claim His promises.

The promise keeping God bless us to be channels of blessings.
