What is your Wilderness?

Deuteronomy 8:2
And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldst keep his commandments, or no.

Wilderness:
The children of Israel has to travel for forty years before they reach the promised Land, Canaan.
Every child of God has to undergo a wilderness experience. The wilderness experience is tough, fearful, confusing, dangerous, harmful, etc.

Wilderness is a place of proving ourselves on this earth to enter into the eternal kingdom.

👉 Abraham’s wilderness was sacrificing Isaac.
Later proven as father of faith.

👉 Joseph’s wilderness was pit and prision.
Later exalted as governor of Egypt

👉 David’s wilderness was Saul’s threat.
Later proven as great King in the history.

👉 John was carried away in the Spirit into the wilderness. (Jn 17:3)
He revealed the mysteries of heaven and of future.

👉 Our savior and Lord Jesus Christ was driven by the Spirit into wilderness to set us an example to overcome the satan, sin and the world. (Mark 1:12)

The path of wilderness is very tough to go if we rely upon our own strength.

We need the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit will lead us in this spiritual journey according to His will when we are born of the Holy Spirit (Jn 3:8)
The out come of our wilderness journey should be humbleness and a proven heart.(see Deu 8:2)
The proud and the wicked hearted cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
The wilderness journey will harness our hearts with humility and purity by the anointing of the Holy Spirit and by the word of God.

Stay Blessed 😊
