Deuteronomy 17:15
Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother.

According the key verse, a stranger cannot be a king. The first qualification for one to become a king is born again experience. Then you will be in the list of called.
All those who are called cannot be Kings. Only those who are chosen can be Kings.

Many are called but few are chosen.(Mat 22:14)
One is recognized as a king only if he is anointed.
My friend, are you in the group of stranger or called or chosen?
If you are in the called group, you cannot be a king. You need the anointing of the Holy Spirit to become a king.

The qualities of a king (read Deu 17:16,27)

1. Should not multiply horses:
   Horses speaks of pride of life, an anointed child should shun the pride and practice to live a humble life.
2. Should not multiply wives:
   Wives speaks of lust of the flesh, an anointed child of should overcome the lust of the flesh and practice to live a holy life.
3. Should not multiply silver and gold:
   Silver and gold speaks of lust of the eyes , or love of money, an anointed child of God should overcome the lust of the eyes and practice to live a life of of temperance.

Altogether the king, the anointed child of God should overcome the worldliness .

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world is lust of the flesh and lust of the eyes and pride of life…. (1Jn 2:15)

You are made as Kings and priests (Rev 1:6,5:10) examine your calling.

Our Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords.
