Little known Man

👳♂️ Little known Man 👳♂️
Mordecai falls into the category of little known or little spoken of man in the Bible. But he rose to fame and power in an alien land.
📖 Mordecai was prominent in the palace; his reputation spread throughout the provinces, and he became more and more powerful (Esther 9:4).
Mordecai was an unknown captive for several years in the citadel of Susa. He brought up orphan Esther as his own daughter. His place was usually at the king’s gate. He guided Esther when she became the queen.
Mordecai cared for his people. He worked for the good of his people. And he spoke for the welfare of all the Jews. Through him the Jews were saved from the enemies in the 127 provinces of the kingdom of Xerxes.
Though his start was obscure in the citadel of Susa, in the end Mordecai was great, eminent and held in high esteem by his people. And the high ranking officials in Susa feared Mordecai (Esther 8:3).
Mordecai recorded all the events that happened during his time in Susa. He sent letters to all the Jews throughout the provinces of king Xerxes to celebrate their great deliverance as the festival of Purim (Esther 8:20).
God placed Mordecai in Susa to preserve His people, and used him for a great restoration and reformation. Mordecai was raised to be second in rank to king Xerxes.
Dear ones in Christ, God places each one of us in strategic locations with a definite plan and for a clear purpose. The start may be very humble. But in the long run He slowly uses us to unfold His plan and purpose.
Wherever you are placed right now, though it is tough, rejoice and keep doing your best. In due course of time, He will use you for a greater purpose. And you will turn to be a blessing to many others.
We are chosen and placed in various places to be channels of blessings.
