Exodus 19: 6
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Our God is a Holy God. His character is holiness.
He wants His children to be Holy.
He delights in holiness.

Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.(Heb12:14)

Jesus Himself said: be ye Holy for I am Holy.(1Pet1:16)

So it is very much possible to be Holy…

Once a small boy asked his grandfather I am reading the Bible every day but I don’t understand it, it doesn’t contain in me. So I will stop reading it…..
To make him to understand he gave him a muddy basket which has got so many holes in it and asked him transfer water from one drum to another drum.
Boy said how’s it possible it has got holes!
Grandpa said just doit..
Obviously he couldn’t draw water from it….
This is stupidity! the young boy replied, I’m tired! I can’t do it anymore!
Grandpa said, dont worry my child…
How’s the basket before and how’s it now?
Boy: It was dirty but now it’s very clean.

Some times we may not understand everything while reading the word of God but when you are persistent your heart will become pure and holy.
That’s the power of reading Bible.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
(Heb 4: 12)

How can we be Holy?
*️⃣The blood of Jesus makes us Holy
*️⃣The word of God makes us Holy.
*️⃣The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes us Holy.
*️⃣Above all the grace of God makes us Holy.

“Who is like unto thee! Who is like unto thee! Holy Holy God. But of thy holiness and thy righteousness we partake and we shall be like thee. Let holiness be a law to me, to holiness a slave I’ll be…. “

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light (1 Pet 2: 9)
