Have you ever doubted God?

Exodus: 6:1
Then the Lord told Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. When he feels the force ……… leave his land!”

In the last chapter we noticed that Moses faced a major disappointment in his life.

Pharaoh became angry at God’s demand to release the Israelites, and he greatly increased his oppression of Israel.
That, in turn, led the Israelites to accuse Moses of adding to their problems.

Moses was now confused and wondered if God really was in charge after all.
Moses was doubting God because Moses was feeling overwhelmed.

We all have moments of doubt, don’t we?

So how does God respond to Moses?

He tells Moses, “Now watch what I can do!”
Also remember who I am …………..

God is patient with Moses and continues to encourage him.
Moses learns to trust God and overcomes his lack of faith

God is always faithful and true to His Word regardless of how it may seem at the time.

Have you ever doubted God?

At some point in life, every one of us could probably answer yes.

Doubts come when our expectations are not met

So what do we do when our head and heart think differently?

When we doubt His faithfulness in the midst of some tough circumstances, confess our doubts and claim the truths of God’s Word over our feelings.

Trust Him, by faith, when we can’t understand what He is doing.

“Trust in the Lord with all our heart
