Tabernacle and Kingdom of God
Exodus 35:30-31
And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
The Tabernacle is the shadow of the kingdom of God.
There are 3 places in the Tabernacle:
- Outer court
- Holy place
- Most Holy place
Similarly there are 3 places in the kingdom of God (Rev21:1-3)
- New Earth
- New Heaven
- New Jerusalem New Earth: Those who are saved will dwell here New Heaven: The Old Testament saints, general martyrs (excluding the martyrs among the perfected saints, constituting the Bride of Christ) and the tribulation martyrs will dwell here. New Jerusalem: This is the place where Christ and His Bride (the church that has overcome) will dwell.
God has chosen Bezaleel and filled him with the Holy Spirit, wisdom and all manner of workmanship.
If God has given that much importance to this earthly Tabernacle, how much more is He concerned about the heavenly Tabernacle!
Beloved, God is not much concerned about the New Earth or New Heaven.
He is mindful of New Jerusalem.
Like how God chose Bezaleel and filled him with His Spirit, in the same manner He has separated a group of people and consecrated them for Himself and anointed them with the power of Holy Spirit, wisdom, and deeper truths and mysteries of the Kingdom of God, so that they may work for the expansion of New Jerusalem.
God chooses us who are weak, foolish and despised, and does this great work of perfection so that no flesh may glory in His presence. Let us therefore learn to be humble giving all the glory to God. (1Cor1:27-29)
Stay Blessed 😊
