📖 EXODUS CHAPTER 32
THE BOOK WRITTEN BY GOD 📚
( A case study )

As I was meditating on Exodus 32 , I found the conversation in between God and Moses to be interesting ( 32 : 7-13 ; 31-33 ) .
📌 The making and worshipping the golden calf was a very serious issue , because within 40 days of agreeing to the covenant based on the Ten Commandments, the Israelites broke the first two commandments.
The Lord was about to destroy the Israelites but Moses began to intercede . In his plea for forgiveness, he wants his own name to be removed ( if needed) from the LORD’S BOOK .
🛐 Moses prayed , “… please forgive their sin – but if not then blot me out of the BOOK YOU HAVE WRITTEN ” (Ex 32:32 )
🌈 The Lord replied, ” Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of MY BOOK” ( Ex 32:33 )

📌 How good it is to know that God has already written a book and He keeps record. 📝

WHICH BOOK ❓

Is it a book where all the names of the people are written , and after that the names of the unrighteous people are blotted out ❓

✅ Psalmist mentioned , THE BOOK OF LIFE where the names of the unrighteous people are not to be listed along with the righteous people.( 69:28 ). In this book God writes the names of the righteous who will be saved from judgement ( Phil 4:3 ; Rev 3:5 ) .
✅ In OT , the blotting out of the names from the book are mentioned , which shows that the people were aware of it ( Deut 29:20 ; 2Kin 14:27 ; Ps 9:5 ; 69:28)

✅ John gives us the information about THE BOOKS at the end time . He mentioned THE BOOK OF LIFE along with other books – the books that records all human deeds ( Rev 20:12 )

💕 Beloved, I do not know how many books are written by God, and how many books ( Rev 12c ) will be opened at the judgement Seat of Our Lord Jesus Christ besides the BOOK OF LIFE . One thing is clear , “If anyone’s name is not found written in the BOOK OF LIFE , he will be thrown into the lake of fire” 🔥

LET US REJOICE FOR OUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE 🙌
