The song of deliverance

๐Ÿ“– EXODUS CHAPTER 15
๐ŸŽผ THE SONG OF DELIVERANCE ๐ŸŽบ

The content / lyrics of Exodus 15:1-18 is the first recorded song in the Bible even though the people were well accustomed with singing and dancing ( Gen 31:27 ) with the musical instruments : tambourines and harps ( Gen 31:27 ) . These were introduced by Jubal , the father of music ๐ŸŽท๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŽบ ( Gen 4:21 )

๐Ÿ“Œ In today’s reading portion the song describes a moment of celebrating God’s spectacular victory over the Pharaoh and his army. This song is a complete package of God’s love and care for His people : From Slavery to Deliverance, and then to the Promised Land where the Lord will reign forever and ever ๐Ÿ™Œ
๐Ÿ’ซ The divine name Yahweh ( the Lord ) appears more than 10 times with a powerful note :
๐Ÿ“Œ The Lord is highly exalted ( v 1 )
๐Ÿ“Œ The Lord is my Salvation ( v 2 )
๐Ÿ“Œ In His unfailing love he will lead the redeemed people ( v 13 )
๐Ÿ“Œ In His strength he will bring them into his holy sanctuary ( v 13b , 17 ) .

This song mainly focus on God himself ( v 11 ) :
๐Ÿ’ซ Majesty in holiness.
๐Ÿ’ซ Awesome in glory .
๐Ÿ’ซ Mighty in signs and wonders.
Who among the gods is like you , O Lord โ“

๐ŸŽˆ Yes , who is like the God of the Bible, for He declared in Exodus 6 :6 – 8
๐Ÿ’ซ I will BRING YOU OUT from under the yoke of the Egyptians .
๐Ÿ’ซ I will FREE YOU from being slaves to them.
๐Ÿ’ซ I will REDEEM YOU with an outstretched arm .
๐Ÿ’ซ I will TAKE YOU as my own people.
๐Ÿ’ซ I WILL BE YOUR GOD.
๐Ÿ’ซ I will BRING YOU to the Promised Land.

๐ŸŽˆ Yes , He said and He had done it , and on that DAY Moses and the Israelites sang this Song of Deliverance with Miriam and all the women flock dancing to the music ๐ŸŽท๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฝ ๐ŸŽบ

๐ŸŽˆ Yes , who is like Him โ“
๐ŸŽผ ๐ŸŽถ ~
There is none like You
No one else can touch my heart like You do !
I can search for all eternity long and find
There is none like You. ๐ŸŽผ ๐ŸŽถ

TRUST HIM AND FOLLOW HIS DECREES

Glory to God ๐Ÿ™Œ

Song of rescue Ex. 15

Moses and children of Israel sang about the might and grace of Jehovah and His redemption of His children from Egypt. Enemies are seen to be destroyed, not only in Egypt but those they are yet to meet 15:5

The enemy said I Will chase themโ€ฆ..destroy them. But God had already said I will rescue them 6:6. If God says I will, satan can do nothing about it. Israel was safe, not because of their faithfulness, but because God had declared I will. His purpose cannot be thwarted.

Israel was the people which thou hast redeemed, which thou hast purchased 15:13,16. The song tells the triumph of might of our God 15:3_12, a display of His mercy v13. God has triumphed gloriously vs1 over the foe. To His people He is the strength .vs2โ€ฆso I will praise Him vs 2 b
