Moses and the elders of Israel are to go to Pharaoh and to say, ” The Lord, the God of the Hebrews commanded them to take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to him. ✒️ Exodus 3:18 .
📌 When this was intimated to the Pharaoh, he gave a series of his proposals to Moses. Each time Moses rejected the proposals and he repeats the need for three day journey to obey the Lord’s command.

📌 Let us ponder upon Pharaoh’s proposals given to Moses.
✅ Pharaoh was not against the Worship Programme but he supplements his own agenda / schemes.
✅ Pharaoh’s motives are like Satan’s Schemes , adding them into believers devotion to Yahweh.

👉🏽 SATAN’S SCHEME NO 1 : “.. Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, ” Go and sacrifice to your God HERE IN THE LAND..” ✒️ Ex 8:25
🎯 Satan wants us to be religious but not separated from sin (.. in the land ). He demands our allegiance to him . In other words he want us to be involved in church activities while living under his grip .

👉🏽 SATAN’S SCHEME NO 2 : Pharaoh said , ” I will let you go to offer sacrifices to your God in the desert , but YOU MUST NOT GO VERY FAR”. ✒️ Ex 8:28
🎯 Satan do not wants us to be deeply rooted and built up in Christ. ( Colossians 2 : 6-7). In fact he do not want us to go away from him .

👉🏽 SATAN’S SCHEME NO 3 : Pharaoh said, “… have ONLY THE MEN GO, and worship the Lord..” ✒️ Ex 10: 10-11
🎯 Satan wants us to be religious but not to have a concern for our family’s spiritual growth ( only the men go). He do not want us to have a Christ-centered home. In some extent , satan is successful today by letting only the husband or wife or even children to have a deeper relationship with the Lord.

👉🏽 SATAN’S SCHEME NO 4 : Pharaoh summoned Moses, ” Go , worship the Lord. Even your women and children may go with you ; ONLY LEAVE YOUR FLOCKS and HERDS..” ✒️ Ex 10:24
🎯 Satan do not wants us to dedicate our wealth and to use it for God’s glory . Satan wants to be the lord of our wealth.

📌 Moses replied , ” Our livestock too must go with us … in worshipping the Lord our God..” ✒️ Exodus 10:26

🙏 MAY THIS BE OUR PRAYER 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 🐄💰🛐

💕 Beloved, how is our spiritual pilgrimage ?
Satan will come with new schemes targeting our profession, our wealth, our family and our faith , and try to take us away from the Lord.
Let us make a fresh commitment to declare ” As for me and my household we will serve the Lord ” ✒️ Joshua 24 : 15c .
