Obey God at all times🙇‍♂️

I. We are to do as we are commanded when our crutches are gone

📍It is so easy for us to become dependent upon people.
📍Friends can become crutches for us to lean on.
📍However, when they die or move on, what are we to do.

📍DO AS I WAS COMMANDED.
📍God gives us friends, but we shouldn’t allow them to take the place of God.
📍When human crutches are gone, we must do as we were commanded.

II. We are to do as we are commanded when our companions are gone.
❣️The “desire of his eyes” was taken.
❣️Ezekiel loved her dearly.
❣️When people misunderstood him, she was there.
❣️Now, she is gone.
❣️No one now to share his thoughts with.
❣️No one to serve God with.
❣️*When human companions are gone, we must do as we were commanded.

III. We are to do as we are commanded when our cheer is gone.
🙋‍♂️It is a wonderful thing to serve God when the blessings are trolling in, and we are filled with joy.
🙋‍♂️It is easy to serve God when things are great and everybody loves us. 🙋‍♂️ We must still serve God even when our joy is gone. 🙋‍♂️There will some times when we feel like it just not worth it. What am I to do……do as I was commanded. 🙋‍♂️We are often called to preach, pray, teach, and all with wounded hearts.

IV. We are to do as we are commanded when our commendations are gone.

👌 If we serve God long enough, the accolades will not come as often.
👌Instead of being commended, we will be criticized.

♥️ LIFE LESSONS
💥If we serve God long enough, somebody is going to disappoint us. 💥 Somebody is going to do something that will knock our feet out from under us.
💥BUT WE SHOULD NOT QUIT

🙏Thank God for those who have gone through unbelievable hurts, horrible disappointments but are still serving God.

What am I to do when I am treated unfairly, just do as I was commanded.❓

TAKE TO HEART

🔹Sin Is Serious.
The destruction of the temple would be so horrifying, and their guilt and grief so overwhelming. When I don’t obey God, I should mourn.  Sin brings fear; confession brings freedom.

Sin may be hidden from others, but never from God. This is why Jesus Christ came to be put to death on the cross for the sins of all who believe. He lovingly endured sin’s penalty and put it to death

Truth is: We never win when we play with sin.
🔹Jesus Cleanses.

God wanted to cleanse the lives of those who live in Jerusalem and He wants to cleanse my heart today. Sometimes He tries to purify me through difficulties and troublesome circumstances. When I face these times, I allow the sin to be burned from my life. God has His own purposes. He exposes hidden sin and so brings me to repentance and cleansing. Truth is: Own up to our sin and experience the joy of confession.

All Glory to Lord Jesus Christ.
