Restrictions to change the situation for His glory

Our mouths are designed to be His Mouth to declare and decree the Word in the Lockdown restrictions to change the situation for His gloryโ€ฆ Ezekiel 3:26-27.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ In this pandemic lockdown God has given us His Word so that we can hear from Him every minute of the day through the power of the Holy Spirit. Even if we don’t hear from a prophet, we can still hear from God, without making any excuse. Instead of searching the Scriptures, people are still surfing the Net for answers, and many falling prey in the web of the Net.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel were all saying the same thing to the people of God โ€” to repent and return to God but they would not. They were provoking the Lord so much that God decided to take His Word away from them. H commanded His prophet Ezekiel to be silent, and to leave them alone, to let them go on in their sins without any restrain or control, which was a sore judgment upon them.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Ezekiel was a functioning priest-prophet, before he was deported to Babylon, where God used him as a Prophet. Even though Jerusalem had fallen, God wanted him to give His messages boldly before His people, and leave them to their choice โ€” to choose between blessing and curse. When the Lord opened Ezekiel’s mouth, he was to deliver His message without any compromise.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Just imagine, God was asking Ezekiel to stop preaching or proclaiming to God’s people. That itself was a judgement upon them. God will decide when to open and shut the mouth of Ezekiel. Even today God will open and shut our mouths when it is appropriate for His Word to be effective for the times and seasons we are in.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ After the destruction of Jerusalem, God didn’t want his mouth to be shut any longer. God will specifically use Ezekiel to utter His Prophecy. Until then, although he should be greatly restrained in his ordinary utterances by the opposition of the people, yet there would be times when God would give him a message with such power that he would be constrained to declare it, irrespective of whether the people would hear it or not. By all these, the difficulties and trials under which the prophet must exercise his office were clearly and strongly set before him.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ Child of God, Remember this, if we are to be useful for God’s service, our Ears have to be disciplined to Hear the Word from His Mouth, Isaiah 50:4-5. We are to open our mouth boldly to declare without compromise, recognizing its Divine Authority through studying the Word Diligently. God is not going to compromise on His Word just because we are in a lockdown. Nobody can lockdown His Word which is active and alive and performs where it is put to work, Isaiah 55:11, Hebrew 4:12.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ There is an increase of lawlessness in the strongest democracies around the world. Isn’t it time for us to wake up from our sleep and be alert about the times we are living in? Ephesians 5:14-16. Stop complaining about our limitations and put our trust in our God who has no limits. The lockdown is an opportunity to continue with the Word which is the seed that contains the Power of Godโ€ฆ Amen. ๐Ÿ™
