SUMMARY of the life of JOSEPH

🙏Prayer of Joseph on the launch 🚀 pad before take off to the heavenly abode to the Great Shepherd.
🧎🏻‍♂️Thank you Father for all your plans fulfilled in my life and granting my hearts 💕 desires to do your Will.
🙏I thank you for the family that you gave me and the pit, prison and problems that you gave me for without that I would not have known how to be:
⁃ poor in spirit
⁃ how to mourn for others
⁃ how to be meek
⁃ how to hunger and thirst for righteousness,
⁃ how to be merciful
⁃ how to have a pure heart
⁃ how to be a peacemaker
⁃ thank you for the persecution,
⁃ Mt 5:3-10
for I believed, that the Lord is my Shepherd, so I was never in want, your presence went with me all my life in the valleys and the mountains 🏔, you anointed me with the oil of Joy ( Heb 1:9), my cup always ran over, and goodness and love followed me all the days of my life.
And I shall DWELL with YOU in HEAVEN FOREVER!”
Amen 🙏

✝️The Heavenly Father says,” 👍🏻 well done my good and faithful servants.
Come and share your master’s happiness!”( Mt 25:23)

This is an ideal topic to be preached on Father’s Day.

🏡Both were good fathers. 🏫
Jacob Home Schooled all the sons.

⛪️But just as in a class room or a church sermon how many have listened carefully and became doers of the Word?
{ Ecclesiastes 5:1; James 1:19;2:14}

Jacob said, this is the son in whom I am well 😀 pleased.
So does the Heavenly Father also say.(Ps 2:7)

A SHORT COMPARISON of
JOSEPH with JESUS

Both started their ministry at the age of THIRTY.

The Heavenly Father motivates the earthly father Jacob to send him on an errand to look for the elder brothers.
✝️Jesus is sent to the earth by the Heavenly Father.

At the age of twelve He started teaching the elders in the Synagogue 🕍 and His parents almost lost Him.

You need spiritual eyes to see the moves on the chess ♟ board how the steps of a righteous man are divinely ordained.( Pr 20:24)

🎓Now Joseph needed to go for higher education.
Egypt 🇪🇬 was well versed in the knowledge of farming and cattle 🐄 rearing.

OBEDIENCE to the father Jacob
When the father said GO and search for your brothers-

It was the Great Commission-
Matthew 28:19
Joseph didn’t come back halfway but persevered upto Dothan.

One of the prime requisites for eligibility for a post or ministry is job accomplishment.(Colossians 4:17)

He reached the right place with the right people who did the right job.

Many are of the opinion that the quotation:” Pride comes before fall”
was holding true for Joseph.

From pride he fell into the pit.

He was parading with the glorious 🧥 coat Jacob made for him and not only in appearance but puffing up about the despotic dreams.

God’s formula for making a person qualified for a big task is to teach a person how to be humble.

In order to be a 🤴🏻 King, you should be down to earth and be concerned 😧 about the common man’s problems.
The gaze should shift from self- centred to others centred .

Centripetal to centrifugal.

For this God prepares a person for ministry by first STRIPPING off of your pride, beginning with your gorgeous 🧥 coat.

God has many helping hands and the brothers accomplished, step one.

In the pit, obviously 🙄, you can’t see yourself, you look outwards for help- more so heaven wards( ps 121

How else would you call upon your God for mercy and grace?

Joseph heard quite a lot of the Mighty wonders of the Wonder working God ( Isa 9) through the life experiences of father Jacob.

When calamity strikes, the righteous do not fret.( Pr 3:25-26
Pr 1:27,33; Psalm 18:18)

The life and character of Joseph is comparable to the life of Jesus.

The soldiers stripped Jesus and put on a scarlet coat 🧥 and mocked Him, saying,” Hail king of Jews and spat on Him , struck Him with a again and again—then they took off the robe 👘 and put on his own clothes on Him.”

When a person is being prepared for ministry he has to give up EVERYTHING that he has.

A person has to undergo rigorous training. Crushed, bruised, battered, till the person comes into the shape of Christ like character.
In this world we are like Him
( 1 John 4:17)
✝️ 1 Peter 2:20-21
20 But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.(A) 21 To this(B) you were called,(C) because Christ suffered for you,(D) leaving you an example,(E) that you should follow in his steps.”

The dreams are explained and they come true.
PRINCE 🤴🏻 JOSEPH is the winner man.
He governs diligently , making the best taxation policies that are in use in the world even today!

All his dreams were fulfilled, he lived long, died in peace and left us a great example to follow.

“Those who are pure in heart 💓 will see God”( Matthew 5:8)

This doesn’t mean that we will see God in heaven.
It means that they will see God in all their doings, in pit,prison or palace and they are always confident, living in joy and peace, come rain ☔️ or sun 🌞 in their life.

I have gone through step by step to encourage you to pray:
Not my will but thine be done ✅
May we all become Josephs for our dear Jesus.
