O Lord, I have heard your speech
- Here Habakkuk is telling, O Lord, l have heard your speech and was afraid. Today , His speech is written for us in the Bible. We read it and hear it. But do we afraid for God’s words and obey? Or do we ignore and ignorent about the word of God? Let us search ourselves. The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow and it is living and powerful. Hebrew 4: 12. When we hear this living words, let us love and obey to the word of God.
- Also he prayed, O Lord, revive Your work, and make it known in the midst of the years. Yes, our Lord is living and will do His works. His works will revive us. So let us pray for our Lord to revive us.
- Also he is pleading for remembering mercy in wrath. ln Luke 18: 13 we see a tax colector standing far away and prayed, God be merciful to me, a sinner. Sameway here Habakkuk is also praying. Let us also humble ourselves, and plead for God’s mercy.
May God bless each one of us same like this Habakkuk to obey the word of God and plead for mercy .Amen. Hallelujah.

“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.”
There are times when circumstances seem as frightening as hiking on the side of a rocky cliff. Every step seems to have hidden danger. One wrong step can end in disaster. In those desperate times, God reminds us that He is our strength and guide.
If we shift our focus from the treacherous, rocky precipice to our solid Rock, God will make our feet like the feet of a deer that is perfectly designed for the rocky cliffs and can find its way over dangerous crevices and precipices without fear of a wrong step.
That is how God enables us to climb through the most dangerous circumstances we face. God will enable us to go on to the heights.
Instead of focusing on fear, discouragement or even exhaustion, when we focus on God and take the next step, we will find ourselves in new heights with a new perspective.
