Those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength

Isaiah 40:31 Those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles
Amazing an eagle’s wing span reach upto 8 ftThough it weighs 10_14 pounds, an eagle can average roar up high upto 30(50km) per hour in flight. The eagle’s feathers are designed to reduce turbulence.when it’s long and broad wings catch a thermal wind This bird can soar for significant distances flapping. Thus it saves precious energy.

When we hope in the Lord, trusting His promises and timing we soar above difficulties, reduce the turbulence and manage our energy so we can run and not grow weary, walk and not feel faint. What a roaring promise.

If we go forth in our own strength, we shall faint, but trusting God puts winds beneath our wings

Don’t give up in the “Battle of Waiting”, we are designed to soar above the Lockdowns to Lock in with God to be Eagle Christians…. Isaiah 40:31

🦅We can either be eagle Christians or chicken Christians in this lockdown season, either soaring above the restrictions and limitations always looking heavenward or be running around like clueless chickens looking downward at the earthly dirt.

🦅Wait is a word that most of us find difficult to keep either in a fast moving world or in a lockdown world. When the world was moving fast
we had no time to wait, so we grabbed a bite, hopped on a bus, ran on a moving escalator and used non stop flights and freights. Everything from microwave to vending machines were all suited to live constantly on fast track. Now in the lockdown we can’t wait to come out of the restrictions and so we see protests in some places. Waiting has always been a battle for most of us

🦅On God’s Agenda, Wait means WAIT The waiting implies, the expectant attitude of faith. The phrase, ‘to wait on Yahweh’, means to wait for His help; that is, to trust in him, to put our hope or confidence in him. Though the phrase is applicable to those who were in the Babylonian Captivity, the phrase is applicable also to all who feel that they are in danger, in want, weak, feeble, guilty, and helpless, and who, in view of this, put their trust in Yahweh.

🦅We have to learn to wait on God’s term with His Grace without being tempted to short circuit the process of waiting using the arm of the flesh. An Eagle in it’s old age knows how to wait to renew it’s Strength and Youth. On top of the mountain it goes through the painful process of plucking it’s worn-out feathers and breaking it’s beak, and then sits gazing at the sun waiting for the new feathers to grow. With it’s new feathers, it is ready to Soar higher than before above the storms and high winds, sensing the current that will give it the upward thrust to fly far above everything. With the Renewed Strength we too can soar above our circumstances. If we can’t soar, we can run, if we can’t run we can walk. We will not be weary, tired or faint in our trials.

🦅 Child of God, Remember this, If we trust God in this lockdown we can take an eagle flight out of this lockdown, until then we have to wait upon the Lord like the eagle, Isaiah 40:31. We must come out as Victorious Eagle Christians and not Chicken Christians, who have learnt to soar higher and higher above the Covid 19 Storm.

🦅Be an eagle Christian when we are faced with challenges. Learn to wait patiently. Let our faith grow wings for us to soar heavenwards. Let us watch against unbelief, pride, and self-confidence in this Lockdown. If we go forward in our own strength, we will faint, and utterly fall, but having our hearts and our hopes in heaven, we shall be carried above all difficulties, and we will be enabled to lay hold of the prize of our high calling in Christ Jesus to overcome every pandemic challenges.

🦅They that wait are those that rely upon Him for Strength to bear their burdens, and for deliverance from them in due time. It is not How Long we Wait that matters but How we Wait and What do we do while WAITING FOR God to Manifest that matters. Abraham Waited for 25 years for Isaac to show up and in Romams 4:18-21, he operated by Faith, Trust and Hope Giving Glory to God during those 25 years….Amen🙏
