Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver;
I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer,
The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.

Isaiah 48:10, 11,17.
We serve a God who leads His children, He led the children of Israel through the wilderness by a pillar of cloud in the day to lead the way and by a pillar of fire in the night to give them light and He sent an angel before them to protect them till they reached the promised land.

The first above scripture portion tells us that God tests a person in the furnace of affliction for His sake so that His name is not profaned. The second scripture portion tells us that God teaches a person to profit. If God teaches a person to profit then no devil on this earth can stop, steal or spoil His blessing and it is permanent.

Afflictions and persecution is a part of a believers walk with God. Many believers when they go through afflictions ask why only me Lord?, why not others? why not John David or Lilly Mary? why only me O Lord?. The reason why God allows a person to go through afflictions is, so that the person can get rid of his weaknesses and He can promote them to the next level and use them in the future for His glory.

Your future and destiny in God is decided in the furnace. The children of Israel murmured in the wilderness, no food, no water, no meat, they asked Moses why have you brought us in this wilderness to die? and many of them perished, only a few entered into the promised land. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were thrown into a furnace they didn’t murmur instead they put their faith in God and He was with them in the furnace and delivered them. Death didn’t swallow them, but they swallowed death and they came out victorious and they were promoted to the next level.

God will not use what He has not tried and tested. Every person whom God chooses to serve Him will be allowed to go through the furnace of afflictions, so that He can promote them take them to the next level and use them mightily for the expansion of His kingdom.

Problems and afflictions don’t come to diminish you, they come to promote you. If you are going through problems and afflictions it is a sure sign of promotion. Today thank God for all the afflictions that you are going through, turn to your problems and say thank you for coming into my life, had you not come, I wouldn’t have got closer to God and gone to the next level. I wouldn’t have known the goodness and miracle working power of God in my life.

Beloved have faith, hope and confidence in God, what He has done for others, He will do it for you. Your problems will not swallow you, but you will swallow your problems and come out victorious and be promoted and you will go to the next level.

Congratulations to you on your promotion of going to the next level.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for every problems and afflictions that we are going through, it has brought us closer to You. Lord we uphold every person who is going through problems and afflictions in their lives, give them the grace and strength to go through it with faith, hope, confidence, patience and perseverance and to come out victorious. Thank You for the promotion that is waiting for each one of us in Jesus name we ask and pray.
