Chapter 4️⃣7️⃣
A Message about Philistines – The Lord was about to destroy the Philistines. Pharaoh with his army would come like an overflowing torrent. The sounds of the chariots and horses would make them mourn. Gaza would mourn and Ashkelon silenced. The sword could not rest because God had ordered to attack Ashkelon and the coast.

Chapter 4️⃣8️⃣
A Message about Moab – The towns of Moab would be ruined, disgraced and shattered. They trusted in their deeds and riches. So they would go into exile together with the priests and officials. Their fortified cities would be ruined. The orchards, vineyards and fields would be dried up. Moab had become an object of ridicule and horror. Like an eagle Nebuchadnezzar was swooping down and Moab would be destroyed. Their sons would go into exile and their daughters into captivity.

Chapter 4️⃣9️⃣
A Message about Ammon – The Lord would sound the battle cry against the Ammonites. It would become a mound of ruins and the villages would be burnt. They trusted in their riches but God would bring terror on them.

A Message about Edom – God was going to bring disaster on Edom. God would strip Esau bare and his children relatives and neighbours would perish. They were despised among men. The pride of their heart had deceived them.

A Message about Damascus – The king of Babylon Nebuchadnezzar would destroy this place and plunder every thing in it. The place shall be desolate for ever and no man shall dwell in it.

A Message about Elam – With his fierce anger God would bring disaster on Elam. Elam’s exiles would be scattered in every nation. God would shatter them before the enemies. God would destroy the king and his officials.

God’s Compassion – With his fierce anger God deals with the kingdoms but to MOAB, ELAM AND AMMON GOD ENDS HIS MESSAGE WITH THESE WORDS : I WILL RESTORE THEIR FORTUNES IN THE DAYS TO COME.
