Andrew who drew people to Christ

John 1: 35-48

One day as Jesus was passing by, John the Baptist told Andrew and his friend that Jesus is the Lamb of God (v 35-36). They left John and followed Jesus. There was no objection from John when his two disciples gave their allegiance to Jesus. We have to learn much from John’s testimony and from his actions.

Our main role is to point people to Jesus

The two disciples followed Jesus, and spent the day with Him. Spending the time with Jesus is always pleasant and blessed, and it thrills to share the experiences with others 🙌

The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and shared his experience. Then he brought Simon to Jesus.

📌 Today some people need someone to gently urge them to have encounter with Jesus.

Where are the Andrews today in our Churches?

We need people like Andrew. He is known as the one who brings people to Jesus Christ. He is mentioned three times in John’s gospel:

1️⃣ John 1:35–42 = He brought Peter to Jesus
2️⃣ John 6:8-9 = He brought the little boy to Jesus
3️⃣ John 12:22–22 = He brought the Greek to Jesus

💞 Beloved Church, most of the people would like to see “WHO WE ARE and WHAT WE ARE IN THE LORD”?
Some people may not like to read the Bible, while others are not interested nor willing to come to church. Let us reflect the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ in our lives by words and in deeds.
LET US DEVOTE OURSELVES TO INTRODUCE CHRIST TO OTHERS.
LET US BE BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS.

Glory to God 🙌
