💠 No Chance 💠

Lay there by the Bethesda pool an unnamed man invalid for thirty eight years. Totally uncared and completely forgotten by near and dear. Pathetic was he devoid of human aid. But the man waited patiently for his turn to be healed.

His eyes were fixed on the waters waiting for it to stir. Helpless and hopeless was his condition. His life took a turn when Jesus Christ stepped in to strengthen his steps. God helps when human help fails. Supernatural was the healing of the man. But before the miracle Jesus wanted to know whether he wanted to get well? (Jn 5:6). Jesus didn’t want to force the healing on the man.

The sickness changed the course of his life. Now the healing again turned his life. He started the new journey. But he had no idea of the person who had healed him. Later he saw Jesus who cautioned him not to sin anymore.

Dear ones in Christ, perhaps you are walking through the valley of ill health right now. You may have no one to help you. Almost all have forgotten you. When there is no hope, God steps in to help.

He is a God who sees our hopeless situation. He listens to our plea for help. Never lose hope in God. He is a very present help in times of distress. The delay in your life is not a denial. Keep trusting God and He will heal you and make you well.

God bless us to be channels of blessings.

Sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you. John 5:14.

Having suffered for 38 years this disabled man had experienced prolonged disappointment at not being healed at the pool. He was repeatedly looking for healing.Jesus showed compassion and chose to heal him.we must never give up hope.

Jesus warned this man not to sin again lest he get a worse sickness. So this man’s sickness is caused by sin. Some sickness are caused by sin and cannot be healed until sin is confessed and set right and cleansed Jesus demands from all who profess faith in His name, to Stop sinning
