Take a Break with Jesus in the Lockdown 🍞☕
Day 235, 270 Days Bible Reading, Saturday, 6.3.21.

In this Lockdown when we know that God knows everything, we can go through our challenges knowing that because He knows all things, He will do everything for us, when we love Him… John 21:17.

💕 Jesus knows everything about us and we are no surprise to Him. Peter, who denied Jesus thrice, was asked if He loves Jesus, thrice by Jesus. Jesus was restoring Peter from his sin of denying Jesus and the consequences of his guilt and shame. Jesus approached Peter through His loving-kindness because Jesus always loved him through His unconditional agape love, Jeremiah 31:3.

💕 Child of God, Remember this, John’s Gospel ends with the disciple of love; John showing the restoring love of the Risen Lord. It doesn’t matter what our situation is in this lockdown. As long as we love Jesus and are abiding in Him, in His Word and in His Love, we can trust Him to know everything about us and our situation and He will restore us back to Him. If we have doubted His plans and went back to our fishing days, John 21:3, denying His Love, John 18:27 and doubting if He can lift us up in this Lockdown, it’s time to return to the Lord today.

💕 Once brash and boastful Peter, failing to follow Jesus to the cross, is now a forgiven and renewed Peter who will be able to do more for the Lord because the Lord knew Peter’s heart. We can be comforted that God knows everything about us, all our mess and mistakes. All we need to do is return to Jesus, in repentance, to tell Him how much we love Him. Then go out and serve Him by feeding and caring for His sheep and lambs… Amen. 🙏
