Want to be part of Lord Jesus?

Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.”(John 13 :8)

Jesus says, Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.
Peter says, you shall never wash my feet (John 13:8)

Jesus told him, “Whoever has already bathed needs only to wash his feet, and he will be completely clean. And you are clean, though not all of you.” For He knew who would betray Him. That is why He said, “Not all of you are clean.”(John 13: 10-11)

In the verse 10, we read that as Lord Jesus says who ever is already in bathed (meaning physically clean) needs only his feet to be washed, as that is the part of body exposed to dirt and dust (as people used to wear sandals those days). This tells us that we need to have clean bodies when we go into presence of the Lord.

In the verse 11, we read that Lord Jesus says, Not all of you are clean. Lord Jesus washed the feet of Jesus of all the disciples, all the disciples bathed. However, Lord Jesus said not all of you are clean.

To Peter HE said washing of feet is fine, and HE says not all of you are clean though everyone bathed. Why?

Lord Jesus is talking about the cleanliness of heart. Judas was clean on the outside – in the body. However, Judas did not have a clean heart. Lord Jesus knew the mind of Judas was to betray Lord Jesus and that his heart was after the silver coins. That’s why Lord Jesus said a clean mind and heart are also needed to be part of him, and hence not everyone was clean.

So, to be part of Lord Jesus we need a clean Spirit (heart), Soul(mind) and Body.

Each time we enter God’s presence we need to wash our Spirits(hearts – meditation), Souls(minds- thoughts) and bodies(the things we watch through eyes, hear through ears, words we speak with our mouths, the actions we perform with our hands, the walk of our feet- wicked ways, prideful) with the Precious blood of Jesus

The blood of Jesus washes us, makes us whole.

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool .(Isaiah 1:18)

The Spirit, Soul and Body have to cry out Holy, Holy, Holy like the way, the Seraphims cry out Holy, Holy, Holy, (Isaiah 6:3, Rev 4:8) so we can be part of Lord Jesus and dwell in the presence of the living God all the days of our lives.

Let us wash our Spirits, Souls and bodies with the Precious Blood of Lord Jesus
Let us to be part of Lord Jesus
Let us cry out Spirit cry out Holy, Soul cry out Holy, Body cry out Holy

God Bless You
