Leviticus 10: 1
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

Fire – Holy Spirit, right Spirit, Strange fire – evil spirit, rebellious spirit, disobedient spirit

A true child of God should be always humble, obedient, submissive to the Spirit of God.
Sad to say is majority part of the people wanted to become famous in their lives by making use of the name of God. People are covetous and making money in the name of God.

How true it is that, just as we read here in this text, many famous people, both in the world and in the spiritual sphere, are not good people! Here, what Nadab and Abihu the sons of famous man Aaron are doing? They offered a strange fire to God. Strange fire shows disobedience, carnal mind. How often we see that those who manipulate affairs to become well-known and popular, are destroyers of the Church of God!

Those who try to become famous are not spiritual people; on the contrary, they are carnal and their works very often destroy the work of God rather than build it. Some of the famous people mentioned in the Bible were also such – like the “two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown” (Num 16:2). What these renowned people did was to rebel against God and their leaders like how Nadab and Abihu did.
But be reminded that our God is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29)

Dear child of God, if you wield in your wisdom and influence you may become famous (maybe in the church), but your name, rather than helping the work of God, may destroy it. It is always good to run away from name and fame, and be hidden in the clefts of the Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ.
