Three important offerings Leviticus 3
From Chapter 3 till chapter 6:7 we have reference to three important offerings. It is as mentioned, peace offering, sin offering and trespass offering.
Chapter 6:8 to 7:21 , God has given the Law of each offerings. As we have already seen, there are five main offerings for different purposes. Some to achieve God’s favour, some for obtaining forgiveness for sins committed.
Peace offering is for pleasing the Lord. It goes up as a sweet aroma to the Lord. To please the Lord is not easy. ‘Blamelessness’ is the requirement .(Ch. 3:1). Gender is not a matter here. Any one can please God regardless of male or female. In the list of mighty in faith in Hebrews 11 , we have godly men as well as godly women. You are not excluded dear. Shall i come to you on water? Come ; Jesus Stretched out His hands toward that man of little faith. You also can try.
Late Lord’s servant M.E. Cherian sir wrote 1000 + songs. But Fanny Crosby composed nearly 1500 songs. There was a great difference. She was blind.she has never seen sunlight, she doesn’t know about colours, She hasn’t seen a sunset, rolling waves and flying wings yet she pleased God. Apostle Paul said we are to God the fragrance of Christ.. only few can discern that fragrance.
Your spiritual status is evaluated according to your submission to God’s will. Jesus offered as a sweet smelling aroma. (Ephesians 5:1)
fire will burn it wholly. No fire then no smell. If you have submitted as an offering to God’s will, never be amazed when fire of trials come. It will come. The Law of offerings confirm it.🌴

Let’s also keep the leaven out of our lives
Let’s follow the example of the priest and each morning get rid of the old ashes, stir up the fire, and offer a burnt offering to the Lord (Romans 12:1-2).
The phrase “stir up” in 2 Timothy 1:6 means “stir up the flame into life again.” Is the flame burning high on the altar of your heart
(Luke 24:32) or are you getting lukewarm (Revelation 3:15, 16) or cold (Matthew 24:12)
Let’s also keep the leaven out of our lives (Ch.6:14-18). which includes hypocrisy (Luke 12:1) false doctrine (Galatians 5:8,9) and corrupt living (1 Corinthians 5:6, 7..)
The sin offering was so holy that it could not remain in the defiled camp; it had to be taken outside the camp (Ch. 5: 11-12, Hebrews 13:10-13 ) . The priest were permitted to eat their share, but only in the holy Court of the tabernacle because whatever the offering touched was made holy. Fellowship with God and one another depends on purity
(Ch. 7:19-21).
