Dress for Success

Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning Luke 12:35

For us to be successful in any profession we need to be Dressed for Success. The dress reflects the preparedness, for the assignment we are called to do.

In the same way, we need to be dressed up for the service our Lord Jesus is calling us to.

To do Lord’s service, at an entry level, we all need to wear the garment of salvation, which we receive when we accept Lord Jesus as our Lord and Savior. That is when the deposit of Holy Spirit is given to each one of us, the lamp is lit in us.

It is upto us, as individuals to upgrade our uniforms/dresses and increase the brightness, the anointing upon our lives. If we do not, the lamp will be put off. For every tree that doesn’t bear fruit will be cut off.(Matt 7:13)

(1)The primary service we all are called to do is to Live for Jesus, which is to Love the Lord our God with all of our heart, all your mind and all your body. (Matt 22:37)

(2). As we Love the Lord and serve Him daily, saying no to evil, and trample evil under our foot, surrender our life to the Lord, Lord Jesus is going to dress us up with a Robe of Righteousness (Job 29:14). The more we serve the Lord Jesus, who is the light of the world, the brighter our lamps are going to burn filled with fresh oil everyday.

(3)As we continue to live a life of surrender to Lord Jesus, the Love of the Lord overflows from our lives to Love the neighbor as yourself calling us serve as a Good Samaritan (Luke 10) in this world serving the needy and the hurt. We would serve others willing to spend out of the abundance of our treasures of our heart.

(4)As we prove ourselves faithful as a Good Samaritan, where we not only quench the thirsty and serve the poor, the love of Lord Jesus clothes us with the priestly garments transforming us into the nature of the lamb, to wash the feet of others that do not deserve the love, to show them the True Love of Jesus. (John 13:1-17)

(5)This servitude qualifies us to be clothed in the lambs clothing, the white clothing, where we put on Lord Jesus, die to self, and are promoted to serve the Lord by sitting on His Throne (Rev 3:21)

Let us continue to be faithful in the little HE has assigned us

Let us be found trust worthy by the Lord Jesus for the greater things HE is calling us to do

God Bless You
