Luke 23:42

One thief recognised Jesus had done nothing wrong He saw the way Jesus conducted Himself when He was accused.He saw Jesus saying , Father forgive them for they donot know what they are doing whereas others would curse and swear.That opened the eyes of the Roman centurian who acknowledged Truly this is the son of God Jesus fulfilled His own teaching about loving ones’ s enemies.and also demonstrated His forgiving nature Jesus provides an example for all believers to follow.

The other thief wanted Jesus to save them but the other one admitted that he deserved to be crucified Adam blamed his wife for his sin and was turned out of garden of Eden /’from the fellowship of God that existed before the fall.This thief admitted his sin and was admitted into the paradise immediately Paradise is prepared for those who are honest enough to acknowledge that they have sinned.and ask for forgiveness.

🌹 Women’s Team 🌹

Women are the majority in most of the prayer meetings and conventions. It is inborn nature of women to seek God more. The same happened during the days of Jesus Christ.

It was the women who mourned and lamented for Him as He walked to Golgotha (Lk 23:27). The women were near the cross when Jesus was crucified (Lk 23:49). The women followed Jospeh and observed the tomb and the way His body was laid (Lk 23:54). Then as their custom they returned and prepared spices and fragnant oils to embalm Him (Lk 23:55).

On the first day of the week the women brought the spices they had prepared to the tomb of Jesus (Lk 24:1). They were the first to notice the missing body of Jesus. They were the first to get the resurrection message from the angels. After hearing that Jesus was alive they rushed to inform the Eleven disciples and the others.

📖 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles (Lk 24:10).

But the disciples did not believe them. The women believed but the disciples hesitated to believe the words of the women. Peter had doubts and so he ran to the tomb to verify. Moreover these women worked as a team to carry the Great Commission. The disciples thought that the women were saying stories. Women are simple minded. So they immediately believed the words of the angel.

📖 And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them (Lk 24:11).

Dear ones in Christ, the weak vessels were the first missionaries to carry the resurrection news to the disciples and others. God trusted them. God honoured their faith. And God used them. If you are a woman then you MUST share the Good News to others.

Being a woman is never an excuse for ignoring the Great Commission. God has given this responsibility to both men and women. Women are precious vessels to God. Serve the Lord in a simple, easy manner. Discover new ways to serve Him. It is right time for the women to rise and shine for the Lord.
