Jesus sat opposite to the treasury or offering box and saw how the people are putting money. Many rich put so much . But one poor widow came and put two mites which make one quadrans. Mark 12: 42. But Jesus saw that and He said, truly l say, this poor widow has put in more than all. Is it not a surprise? Yes, what can we learn from this incident?

1. Jesus knows about all what we do and sees all our deeds. Not only our thoughts, and deeds, He sees what we give and how we give our offering.
2. This poor widow put all what she had as offering out of her poverty and put all what she had for her livelihood. If so, what she will eat for next meal? She knew one thing that the Lord who is Jehovah Jireh will provide everything she needs for the next meal. What a great, wonderful faith she had! But we are calculating our monthly expenses, and then try to give even less than one tenth. But how could she give every thing she had for her livelihood?
3. She gave everything she had because she loved God so much.. Do we love God ? Ifso how much we love Him?
4. Also she was thankful for the Lord, who is Ebenezer, who led her till now . We received countless blessings from our Lord. How can we thank Him for His provisions in our life , good health, strength, peace, salvation, Holy Bible, innumerable promises, family, education, job etc?

Today let us submit our life, time, talents all as offering.Our God gave us His only son Jesus, to die for us. So let us offer our offering voluntarily and not out of compulsion. Let us deposit treasures in heaven. Let us give offerings to build the kingdom of God.

May our Lord accepts our offering for His glory. Amen. Hallelujah.

When we are liable to sleep?.
Easy roads make sleepy the travelers.
Another dangerous time is when all go pleasantly in spiritual matters.
It is in easy places we shut our eyes and wander into the dreamy land of forgetfulness.
When we are in great sorrow or loss,we like a delightful place to sleep.
We like to take rest when we are weary.
The disciples fell asleep after they had seen Jesus transfigured on the mountain top.
Good frames are near neighbors for temptations.
We must be always watchful.
