From the Treasure Chest ๐Ÿ’Ž

๐Ÿ’Ž The Book of Proverbs is a treasure chest filled with valuable and variety of gems, pearls, stones, diamonds, silver, platinum and gold. These teachings are inevitable in avoiding silly and grave mistakes. At times silly mistakes lands us in knee deep trouble.

For our devotion today we can have a quick, short glance at the choices of the righteous. The righteous are cautious in leading a strife free life. Three striking characters of the righteous from todayโ€™s Scripture are:

He Cares ยฉ๏ธ

๐Ÿ“– A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal (Prov 12:10).

It is God who created the animals. They are created for a purpose. And God doesnโ€™t want anyone to hurt or harm them. A righteous man with this understanding cares for his animals. If we cannot care for them at least let us not trouble them.

He is Cautious ยฉ๏ธ

๐Ÿ“– A righteous man is cautious in friendship (Prov 12:26).

Show me your friend and I will say who you are is a well known saying. God fearing friends will lead us towards God. Whereas bad friends corrupt our piety. A righteous man prayerfully and cautiously selects his friends. Better to remain alone rather than to be in bad company.

He Clears Out ยฉ๏ธ

๐Ÿ“– A righteous man escapes trouble (Prov 12:13).

Christian life is never devoid of troubles and trials. But the righteous man comes out of troubles with Godโ€™s grace. Also a righteous man foresees trouble and takes care to escape from being trapped in it.

Dear ones in Christ, how we live everyday makes an impact on those around us. Our care for animals, our carefulness in choosing friends and how we take care to stay out of trouble helps us to lead a stress free and strife free life. May God give us the wisdom and discretion to lead a life that glorifies Him.

God bless us to be channels of blessings.

Take a Break with Jesus in the Lockdown ๐Ÿžโ˜•
Day 143, 270 Days Bible Reading, Friday, 4.12.20. โœ’

God’s Economy is run by Wisdom and there won’t be an economic meltdown in this pandemic season if godly Wisdom takes over the Financial Systemโ€ฆ Proverb 8:21.

๐Ÿ‚ Loving godly wisdom and using godly wisdom in this pandemic situation will prevent an economic meltdown, and even in the midst of a famine God can raise up the Josephs of this world who was used in Egypt to feed the world. Loving God’s wisdom brings substantial treasures to men, families, and nations, and Solomon became the richest person when he asked for Wisdom, 1 Kings 3:1-15. This is a rule of economics established by the God of Heaven.

๐Ÿ‚ In a recent report, a major country’s treasury department said that the country’s economy will be put back to what it was 300 years ago in a year’s time! Yet, God’s Word has said that His Wisdom will fill the treasuries. God is resetting the world so that people will know our God is an awesome God who endowns wisdom to all who ask, James 1:5.

๐Ÿ‚ For the Church, the most substantial treasures are in the unseen realm, and it is invisible. That’s why Moses was able to leave the treasures of Egypt and follow God, Hebrews 11:24-26. We, the Church, have the eternal inheritance of God Himself, and a glorious eternity in heaven for those who belong to Him with the Wisdom of God in Christ Jesus, 1 Corinthians 1:24. We have the many-sided wisdom of God, while the world runs around in confusion and foolishness, Ephesians 1:8. We have the Holy Spirit guiding us into all truths to bring the people in His Light from their blindness, darkness and superstition.

๐Ÿ‚ Child of God, Remember this, folly brings pain and poverty to men and nations; wisdom brings peace and prosperity to men and nations, which is the rule of heaven. We can’t reset it. The only person who stands to lose is the person who doesn’t apply godly wisdom. Wisdom has rules for success. The whole chapter of Proverbs 8 lists out the benefits of wisdom for those who will embrace wisdom and love wisdom.

๐Ÿ‚ God will supernaturally bless those who fear Him and put their trust in Him, Proverb 22:4. Wisdom brings riches. We either believe it, or lose it, be richer or poorer. In this pandemic situation, God will bless those who love and obey Him, by seeking God first, Matthew 6:33 and He will fill our treasuries to share His goodness with those needy people around us in this Lockdownโ€ฆ Amen. ๐Ÿ™
