Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day;

For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off.

Proverbs 23:17-18.
We serve a God who is our hope and He will fulfill every good promise that we are holding and standing upon, in His time. The above scripture portion tells us that we should not get discouraged or bother about the thoughts, comments and actions of people who don’t know God. When Jesus is the hope and anchor of our soul and life, no problems, challenges, circumstances or delay can cause us to fear, worry, discourage or make us lose our hope. Tell the devil, I will not be shaken, I will not lose hope, you cannot steal, spoil or stop my blessing, because Jesus is the hope and anchor of my soul and life.

Hope is constant confident expectation of receiving good from the promises of God (faith is for now and hope is for tomorrow). Many times believers who wait for a long time to receive their miracle lose hope in God and ask this question when we believe in God why all this? why do we face problems and challenges?. why this delay ?. The answer is very very simple, we live in a fallen creation, we are redeemed, but the creation is not yet redeemed, so we will have problems and challenges, but with Jesus on our side we have the hope and confidence that we will come out victorious from every problem we have and face on this earth. The problem will not swallow us, but we will swallow the problem and come out victorious and we will bring others out of their problems. Jesus never said when you walk with Me there will be no problems, He said if anyone does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me (Matthew 10:38). Jesus also said in this world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16:33). It is in the past tense It is finished.

God desires and expects His children to rule and reign on this earth. The reason why many believers live a defeated life on this earth is, because they don’t know what Jesus had done for them on the cross of Calvary. Jesus conquered sin, sickness, poverty and death on the cross. Religion has wrongly taught people to come religiously on Sundays, come sit, stand, sing some songs, give money and simply go away without expecting and receiving anything from God. If you know and experience what Jesus has done for you on the cross then you will never keep quiet, you will tell the whole world about it. Jesus gave us victory from the cross, it is our duty and responsibility to enforce our God given victory in our problems, challenges and circumstances. Believers don’t fight for victory, they fight fight from victory and enforce their God given victory.

One of the main reasons why believers don’t receive answers to their prayers is, because they don’t pray according to the promises of God, they pray whatever comes out of their mouths. If we are in lack and poverty, we should take promises of God concerning finances and pray accordingly and see it manifest in our lives, (2 Corinthians 8:9, Philippians 4:19, Proverbs 10:22). If we desire healing in our bodies we should take promises of God concerning healing pray accordingly and see it manifest in our lives (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24). If we want reverse ageing process, youth renewal, strength in our bodies we should take promises of God concerning these and pray accordingly and see it manifest in our lives (Job 23:25, Isaiah 40:31). The devil feeds on ignorance and ignorance of the word of God, when you know and speak the word of God the devil has no other option left but to run away from you. It is wisdom to pray according to scripture promises from the Bible and see healing, deliverance, miracles, provision, protection, signs and wonders manifest in our lives.

Jesus from the birth and childhood knew that He had to go to the cross, but He also knew and hoped in God that He will raise Him on the third day. When Jesus was buried the devil thought that it was all over for Him, but Jesus didn’t stay in the grave for ever he rose from the grave to live for ever and ever, since then the devil is running with its left over life and in the end it will simply be thrown in the lake of fire for eternity.

Beloved no matter what condition you are in, no matter how long you are waiting for your break through and miracle, don’t give upon God, don’t give up praying according to the promises of God, keep hoping and expecting good from God (expectation is the breeding ground for miracles). What God did for others, He will do it for you. You will share your testimony openly and publicly for the glory of God.

Those who trust in the Lord, Are like Mount Zion, Which cannot be moved, but abides forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the Lord surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.

Psalm 125:1, 2.
That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,

Hebrews 6 :18, 19.
Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for the gift of Jesus for He is the hope and anchor of our soul and lives. Lord we uphold every person who is waiting for a miracle since a long time, everyone who is discouraged and given up hope. Let faith and hope rise up in their troubled hearts and give them the grace to wait patiently with faith and hope on You and see, receive and enjoy their miracle. Thank You for answering our prayers and performing miracles in everyone’s life in Jesus name we ask and pray.
