Noble Character of a Wife 👑

🕯️ The Book of Proverbs 🕯️

Proverbs 27 – We can have knowledge of only TODAY. TOMORROW is unknown for we know not what a day may bring forth. Boasting is of no use. We should never praise ourselves. Anger and fury may be overwhelming, but no one stand before jealousy. The kiss of an enemy can never be trusted (Eg.Judas Iscariot). A person giving into temptation will only stray from his home.

A friend in need should not be forsaken. When disaster strikes it is better to rely on a friend than a brother. A wise son serves as a powerful testimony that the father who has shaped him has shown himself to be a man of worth. The condition of a man’s heart indicates his true character. Man should be careful about flattery. Inspite of severe punishment fools refuse to change.

Proverbs 28 – Though not pursued the wicked man flees, but the righteous are bold as a lion. A man of understanding maintains order and he would always resist the wicked. Those who seek the Lord would understand justice. It is better to be poor and blameless than to be rich and perverse. The prayers of a lawless man are detestable. Rich or poor discernment is of absalute importance.

A person who confesses and renounces sins finds mercy. He who fears the Lord, is faithful and whose walk is blameless is blessed of the Lord. Showing partiality, or being stingy or greedy will only stir up dissension. He who trusts in the Lord and gives to the poor will lack nothing.

Proverbs 29 – A stiff necked man will be suddenly destroyed. A fool gives full vent to his anger. A hot tempered man commits many sins. A man who speaks in haste has no hope. Bloodthirsty men hate men of integrity. A fool always rages and there is no peace.

A man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father. A king gives his country stability by justice. Wise men turn away from anger. A king’s throne will be secure when he cares for the poor. A man of a lowly spirit gains honour. Whosoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. Man gets justice from the Lord. The righteous detest the dishonest.

Proverbs 30 – This Proverb is a message of the Prophet Agur. He calls himself ignorant and unwise. He uses many questions to prove the greatness of the God of Creation. He pleads with God to keep falsehood and lies from him.

He did not want poverty or riches but only his daily needs so that he may not dishonor God. Do not take advantage of the lowly position of a servant. Do not be haughty and proud like ravenous beasts that devour the prey.
