Our feet are planted on the solid rock

Psalm 62:1 “ My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation.”
When David wrote Psalm 62, he was under attack from his enemies.
He was experiencing a season of desperation and had many desperate experiences during his lifetime.

He lived in a brutal age and endured tremendous pressures.

Life is filled with ups and downs.

Many times we all have uttered this question in our despair- “What am I going to do?”

Sometimes the storms of life come from something very dangerous.
They seem endless, successively crashing against us until we feel as though we can’t take any more.

In those times of desperation, Psalm 62 can teach us three valuable lessons.

WE MUST WAIT. The Lord acts in His own perfect time, and He’s never late. Therefore, we must wait for Him to guide us to the next step.

WE MUST WAIT IN SILENCE. When we quiet our mind and tongue, we give God an opportunity to speak His words of hope and trust to our heart.
TRUST IN HIM AT ALL TIMES

Even in the midst of turmoil, make sure that our feet are planted on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

Do not despair, asking, What am I going to do?……. Rather, ask, What is God doing? And be assured—He cares for us each and every day.
