Psalms 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life, you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasure at your right hand”.

In *Psalm 16, David joyfully displays his compelling confidence in His Lord, and writes of his utter trust in the God of his salvation.

So….
Are you filled with joy?
I will readily admit that I have joy though sometimes it’s more obvious.

But when others look at me, do they see my cup filled to the brim with joy?

Probably not.

If so, How do we become filled with joy?

Read the above verse: In God’s presence there is “fullness” of joy. So, if we want to be filled with joy, we need to stay in God’s presence.

Many of us lead unhappy lives because we never spend time in God’s presence.

Do we know the Lord, or do we merely know about Him?

“Knowing Christ” was Paul’s number‑one priority: “All the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life.

To build and maintain intimacy in a relationship we must schedule time with the other person, otherwise it won’t happen.

There’s a reason the Bible compares our relationship with Christ to that of a bride and groom.

For a marriage to be strong, two people must pay attention to one another.

And that happens only when they’re willing to set aside things like work, financial concerns, and even children.

Likewise, our devotional life should involve simply enjoying the presence of the Lord.

Joy comes from being in God’s presence…………. Many of us lead unhappy lives because we never spend time in God’s presence.

True joy is far deeper than happiness;

Happiness is temporary because it is based on external circumstances, but
joy is lasting because it is based on God’s presence within us.
