Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Paul traveled to many countries on his missionary journeys.

The Epistle to the Romans was written while he was in Greece to encourage Christians living in Rome to cultivate and nurture their faith.

Pual here tell us that true peace comes from placing faith in Jesus.

When we place our faith in Jesus, we are made right in God’s sight.
Our peace with God is a gift, but sometimes we don’t take advantage of that gift.

We have our little struggles with God.

If God doesn’t answer a prayer , we feel it desperately needs to be answered.
The Holy Spirit may invite us to take a step of faith that we are hesitant to take.

God’s gift of peace is always ours.

Confession, repentance and forgiveness open the door to experiencing that peace.

Trusting in God’s love and that God is our protector and provider allows us to rest in that peace.

In the middle of the trials, tribulations and triumphs of life we can be embraced by God and be at peace.

Take a deep breath in of God’s love today and allow His peace to wipe out all our fear.

We are justified-by faith! We are made righteous- by faith! We have peace with God –by faith.
