Romans 6:23. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Yes, we will receive wages for the sin we commits in our life. That is Spiritual death or death of our soul, which will lead us to hell, the place of eternal fire. The soul which sins shall die. Ezekiel 18: 20. Also,

Sin lies at our door. Genesis 4:7. For what? To prevent our blessings to reach us.

We will be caught with the cords of our sin. Proverb 5:22. That means, we will be paralysed. We can’t work for our Lord.

Our sins will hide the face of God from us, so that He will not hear our prayers. Isaiah 59:2.

Our sins will withheld good from God. Jeremiah 5:25.

Yes, He who covers His sin, will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. Proverb 28:13.
The blood of Jesus Christ, His son cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:7,9. Jesus is the propitiation ( atoning sacrifice) for our sins, not for ours only but also for the whole world. 1John 2: 2. Jesus, Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree. 1 Peter 2: 24. This salvation, the eternal life is completely free. This is the gift of God, we receive by faith through His grace. May God help each one of us to receive this happiness and peace. Amen. Halelujah.
