God will bring you out victorious and reveal His glory

There’s no storm too strong that God can’t calm No giant too big that He can’t defeat Process sets the stage for success, don’t fight the process *God will bring you out victorious and reveal His glory through you.

And it happened, as she continued praying before the Lord that Eli watched her mouth.

Now Hannah spoke in her heart, only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli thought she was drunk.

So Eli said to her how long will you be drunk? Put your wine away from you.

But Hannah answered and said, No my lord, I am a woman of sorrowful spirit. I have drunk neither wine or intoxicating drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord.

Do not consider your maid servant a wicked woman, for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief I have spoken until now.

Then Eli answered and said ” Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him “.

1 Samuel 1:12-17.
We serve a God who uses broken people and their brokenness to reveal and fulfill His plan, purpose and glory and to bring them Joy (Jesus & only you) and joy to others.

The above scripture portion tells us that Hannah a broken woman was pouring her heart and soul to God and the priest Eli thinks her to be drunk (no one can understand brokenness except the person who is going through it and God). Hannah’s cause of her brokenness was that she was childless, whereas her rival Penninah was bringing forth sons and daughters. Brokenness is a process through which God reveals and fulfills His plans, purpose and glory on this earth. God can never use a person without allowing him to be broken first and He calls, choses and prepares broken people to fulfill His plans and purposes.

Abraham had everything good in his life family, property etc, but he was broken the reason for his brokenness was he and his wife were getting old and they had no children, no heir to move it forward, sometimes he thought Lot and sometimes he thought Eleazar would become his heir. God called him with a promise “father of many nations ” he left everything and followed God with faith in good times and in bad times and God made him the father of many nations and He displayed His glory through Abraham’s brokenness by fulfilling the promise that He had given to him.

Isaac, Abraham’s son had everything good in life, he was prosperous, but he was a broken person, because Rebekah his wife was barren for a long time (Genesis 25:21) and the wives of his son Esau displeased him.

Jacob was wanting to marry Rachel ( love at first sight) so he worked for seven years thinking that he would get her as his wife, but his cunning uncle Laban gave him Leah instead of Rachel and he made him work for another seven years and then he gave her to him. After getting married another problem arose he was not having children through Rachel, so she gave him her maid Bilhah and she bore him children for her and in the end Rachel conceived Joseph, Jacob’s favorite child, When Jacob thought that he would settle down with his wives, children and the earnings that he had secured, God asked him to move out from his uncles house to his father’s house ( Genesis 31:3).

Jacob was in a position where he could not go to his father’s house, because his elder brother Esau was after his life he was wanting to kill him. On one side his cunning uncle to manipulate him and his work and on the other side his brother waiting and wanting to kill him, he was broken, so he turned to God for help in prayer and fought with God to bless him and He still broke him further by dislocating his hip socket( joint). Jacob thought it is all over now, he thought that his story came to an end, the story didn’t end there, it had simply begun, he walked limping into Egypt with his family members of seventy, but after four hundred and thirty years, God brought him out as a great nation, they didn’t come out empty handed, but they came out with the gold and silver of Egypt to enter into the promised land. God used the brokenness of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and turned them into a great nation.

Hannah’s brokenness didn’t last for a long time it ended, God gave her a son, He blessed her with seven children (seven denotes perfection, wholeness and completion). God used Hannah’s brokenness to bring forth Samuel a Prophet who is remembered in and for eternity.

Beloved rejoice if you are broken, It is a sign that God is taking you such heights and places which you would have never imagined or dreamt.

“Your brokenness will bring out and reveal God’s glory to those around you”.

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

Psalms 34:18
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken heart and a contrite heart – These O God You will not despise.

Psalms 51:17.
