Acts 9:16 I will show him how much he much suffer for My name

Jesus predicted Paul to suffer greatly for his faith.Paul’ s conversion and salvation meant not only a commission to preach the gospel but also a call to suffer for christ.He must undergo much suffering for the cause of christ.In christ’ s kingdom ,suffering for His sake is a sign of God’s highest favor and the means to a fruitful ministry.John 12:24: Except a corn of wheat ….die…it bringeth forth much fruit It results in abundant reward in heaven.Matt 5:11,12 * Blessed are ye when men shall revile you,persecute you,…Rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven.

Paul who persecuted others,was persecuted for the very preaching he once persecuted.This is the proof of being Jesus disciple.
