Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking? John 20:15

Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” John 20:15

💝 Mary Magdalene once was known to be a sinful woman, until she met the Lord and repented and renewed her life in the Lord, on receiving the Lord’s forgiveness.

💝 When Mary Magdalene experienced the great love of Jesus for her, she in turn loved Jesus very much and chose to be a close follower of Jesus and stood by the cross ✝️ of Jesus during His death along with the Mother of Jesus and other disciples.

💝 Mary Magdalene never left the company and side of Mother Mary and the disciples as Jesus had taken the first place in her life. When Jesus was buried after His death, she saw the place where he was buried. On the third day (Sunday) when she saw the empty tomb, she went to tell Simon Peter and the other disciples about it. When Simon Peter and John saw the empty tomb, and everything as she had told, they went back to their home. But Mary Magdalene stayed back and started weeping outside the tomb. Her weeping and deep love for Jesus led her to see and meet the risen Lord.(John 20:16-17)

💘 Points To Ponder

  1. 🌷Do our love for Jesus is as deep as Mary Magdalene❓
  2. 🌷 Do we seek Jesus like her until Jesus reveals Himself to us❓
  3. 🌷Do Jesus really have the first place in our lives❓
  4. 🌷Do we believe that Jesus loves each one of us unconditionally and uniquely❓

💘Lord Jesus Thank You for loving me so much as to die for me. Thank You for reconciling me to the Heavenly Father and for forgiving me my sins and for giving me eternal life. Lord Jesus, I desire and want to love You more and more each day. Fill me with Your Love and let others see no longer me, but Jesus in me. Amen.
