Proverbs 27:15 “A continual dripping on a day of violent showers and a contentious woman are alike;”………

Being contentious means; tending to argument, strife; quarrelsome.
Contentious is someone who is argumentative or a situation where there is discord

What is a contentious woman?
One that argues, debates, disputes, fights, quarrels, and questions. She is not content, and she cannot let others be content. She pushes, irritates, aggravates, and nags. She has no clue her role is to be a cheerful, submissive helper.

What we should remember as we read this is that God places great value on a woman who has a quiet and gentle spirit.

This is what God desires – so when a woman goes the opposite direction, it is not only against what He wants, but it places an example before other women that is not only lacking, but it encourages them to behavior that is completely outside of what God desires in a Godly lady.

Who can find a virtuous woman?

Her price is far above rubies, says the Word of God.
She shall be praised.

Among God’s people, she is honored with a grateful love. She may not be abused, ill-treated, disrespected.

A woman that feareth the Lord. That is a gift of God.

Proverbs 28:13 He who covers his sins will not prosper, but who ever confesses and forsake them will have mercy

If we refuse to admit guilt and hide our sin, we will experience physical, emotional and spiritual consequences our vitality is drained.

But confession brings peace, joy, as sin is confessed and God has forgiven us when we acknowledge our sin as David did in Ps 32 and 51, we can experience God’s forgiveness. Such a person receive mercy and is happy.
