It is the Lord your God who fights for you

Deuteronomy 3:22 “You shall not fear them, for it is the Lord your God who fights for you.”

Throughout the Bible, the Lord told His people over and over again “Don’t be afraid or discouraged.”

There are many reasons why each of us might experience fear.
We can be afraid because of the situations we face or the forces that are coming against us.
We might feel overwhelmed or unsure of what to do.

How do we fight fear?
By trusting in the God who fights for us.

In Romans 8, we read that “If God is for us, who can be against us?

If Christ is on our side, we have no reason to fear anything in this world.
We have nothing to fear in this world.

God is able to do infinitely more than we can imagine.

Faith is the key to overcoming the fear of defeat in any situation of our life.

As we trust in the Lord, He will light our path and provide everything we need.
Don’t focus on our problems, instead focus on Him, He will give us strength and take away our fears.
Look to God.
Trust in Him.
Make Him our stronghold.

We can be safe and secure in Him.

🥥 In a Nutshell 🥥

🧶 Bundle of Joy 🧶

Someone said that grandchildren are a bundle of joy. Another preacher wished he had his grandchildren before his children. Life with grandchildren is so different. The punishment and rules that was imposed on children disappear with grandchildren.

Along with the joy God gives a great responsibility to grandparents. God expects the parents and grandparents to teach His laws to the future progeny. The Bible says:

📖 Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren (Deu 4:9).

Nowadays nuclear family is the way of life. Grandparents get to meet their grandchildren only during holidays or festivals. But that does not prevent one from loving them, praying for them and teaching them His word.

We should not be careless and unmindful of all the miracles God has done in our life. We need to think and rethink about them often. And teach them to the next generation. Let the grandchildren also be mindful to obey God and His commands.

Dear Ones in Christ, children and grandchildren are treasures God has entrusted to our family. They need to be loved, cherished, nutured and brought up in a holistic manner. How many of us are praying earnestly for our grandchildren? Do we teach them about God or do we bore them with our aches and pains?

Praying grandparents are an asset to the family. God bless us to be channels of blessings.
