๐Ÿ“– Ecclesiastes Chapter 1-6
“Ecclesiastes” is the Greek translation of the Hebrew word “Qoheleth” , which means “one who gathers , assembles or collects things “.
It suggests that the author – Solomon has collected and examined the philosophies by which humans live.

Everything is meaningless under the Sun ๐ŸŒค๏ธ

Solomon – the Teacher , begins with “Meaningless” (.. Everything is meaningless โœ’ 1:2) while exposing the meaninglessness of life “under the sun” – a term that refers to this world in its fallen condition . The list goes on as follows :
1) Everything is meaningless (1: 2-11)
2) Wisdom is meaningless (1: 12-18)
3) Pleasures are meaningless (2:1-11)
4) Wisdom and Folly are meaningless (2:12-16)
5) Toil is meaningless (2:17:26)
6) Advancement is meaningless (4:13-16)
7) Riches are meaningless (5:8-17)

๐Ÿ“Œ After investigating everything thoroughly — including money, sex , power , pleasure, adventure and knowledge — the Teacher finds that it all comes to nothing. But in the end he made a strong announcement : Fearing God and Keeping his commandments is MEANINGFUL because it is what we were made to do โœ’ 12:13

๐Ÿ“Œ This life is a Naked – Come , Naked Go deal and in between this gap we need to understand the purpose of our life .

ใ€‹ The best we can do is to find satisfaction in our work and strive to please God who gives us what we need โœ’ 2:24-26

ใ€‹ God created an orderly , disciplined world where things happens at appropriate times. All we need is to order our lives according to God’s wisdom and in obedience to His timetable โฐ

๐Ÿ“Œ God has made everything beautiful in its time (3:11) . While living in His time we need to please him ( loving those things that He loves and hating the things that He hates) .

ใ€‹ We need to have fellowship with God and with one another (4: 9-12)

ใ€‹ We are to avoid meaningless and foolish worship (5:1)

๐Ÿ’ž Beloved, our satisfaction lies in fearing God and Keeping his Commandments. We have only one life here on earth ; let us continue to live meaningfully ๐Ÿ™

Life without God is empty Ecc 2:24-26

Though life under the sun is like a vapour, meaningless, we should enjoy God’s good gifts of food, work and wisdom. Noone should discount God’s gifts. If God would not give them, they would not be available. We should be thankful and satisfied.

True enjoyment in life comes when we follow God’s guidelines for living.we thank God for each new day as a gift from Him and live a life pleasing to Him and serving Him.

Those without God donot have anyone to guide them rightly in life’s complications.
