In this Lockdown, don’t allow negative fear to cause a chink in our spiritual armour… Job 3:25

🌾 So much of fear has gripped people in the most part of 2020, that some have given up of seeing an end to the pandemic. Job did not sin with his actions, but his mind was preoccupied with the thoughts of “what if my children has sinned against God in their hearts…” Job confessed, that what he feared and dreaded has come upon him, Job 3:25. We might be full of faith words but confessing fear cancels out our faith words. Living around fearful people is very challenging. It is natural to feel fear but we must not be paralyzed by fear. That is why it is so important to be connected to the Word of God and the people of God in times like this.

🌾 Satan knew that God had put a Hedge around him but Job had punched a small gap in the Hedge through Fear. Job feared God, which is a Healthy and Holy Fear of Reverence. But, he also had Negative Fear. He Feared that his Children could have sinned against God. He was offering sacrifices to God through Fear, Job 1:5. Satan accessed Job through Fear when God permitted Satan to touch Job. Chinks in our Spiritual Armour give Access to Satan.

🌾 What occupied his mind became a reality. Fear was in his mind. He didn’t want his Children to sin against God even in their thoughts or in their hearts. He could have feared losing everything, and he did. We can overcome our Fears through Jesus who defeated the author of fear at the Cross, Hebrew 2:14-15. Only Jesus was Flawless in His Spirit, Soul, Mind and Body.

What was the first thing Satan destroyed in Job’s life?
The Animals used for Burnt Offerings.

Why?
🌾 So that Job could not bring any sacrifices to God. Satan will always attack the areas concerned with our Relationship with God first. Then the rest of the areas will fall like a Domino Effect. After Job prayed for those who falsely accused him and misunderstood him, gifts for sacrifice found their way to Job, 42:10-12.

🌾 Child of God, Remember this, whatever we have lost through fear, can be restored when we confess our fear. God is a God of Restoration, and He has given us His Son Who has Done a Perfect Redemptive Work for Us.* All we need to do is Believe that All things can be Restored in Christ Jesus. Fear is not from God, 2 Timothy 1:7. Perfect Love casts out Fear, 1 John 4:18. Do not allow fear to occupy our mind. Focus on Jesus, the author and Perfecter of our Faith, and be Occupied by how much God has lavished His Love on us in Christ Jesus, 1 John 3:1… Amen. 🙏
