Take a Break with Jesus in the Lockdown 🍞☕
Day 162, 270 Days Bible Reading, Wednesday, 23.12.20.✒

We have the Floodlights to Shine in the Lockdown wherever there is gross spiritual darkness so let us arise and shineIsaiah 60:1-3

⭐It is so wonderful to be reading the Book of Isaiah this Christmas Season because 600 years before the birth of our Messiah, Isaiah prophesied His birth in the midst of the darkest moments of Israel’s history. These days in the skies there is a rare celestial conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn that gives the effect of the Star of Bethlehem which can be seen with naked eyes, at a time when the world is going through an unprecedented darkness caused by the Corona virus. Those who followed the Star of Bethlehem two thousand years ago was lead to Jesus. But now we have the Word of life for the depraved world and those who hold it out to them becomes the shining stars, and those who follow the Word will be led to Jesus, Philippians 2:15-16

⭐We are told not to focus on the Darkness but to focus on the Light. Jesus came to the World so that He can light us up. He is the Light of the World, John 9:5 and now we as the Church are the Light of the World, Matthew 5:14 There will come a time in the future when the Church will be radiating with the Glory of God. Bride of Christ will don the Glory in all its fullness as the Body of Christ, Ephesians 5:27.

⭐We will be flooded with the light of God’s glory and our faces will shine with the Light from Yeshua’s face, 2Corinthians 4:6. We have this treasure on the inside of us. We are the glory carriers. We are to grow from glory to glory, 2 Corinthians 3:18. The more we gaze upon His Glory in the Word of God the more you will be glowing and flowing in His Glory.

⭐Just Meditating on Isaiah 60:1-3 and 2 Corinthians 3:16 – 2Corinthians 4:7 is enough to put a shine on our face in the midst of this pandemic Christmas season especially for those who know Jesus can see us glow and flow. Isaiah is giving hope in a hopeless situation in the darkest era of Israel ‘s History so that God’s people had something to look forward to. When darkness will afflict the earth, upon Zion “the Lord will shine”, Isaiah 60:2. The darkness of the plague in Exodus 10:21-29 was only the echoes of the full scale darkness unleashed globally. Zion will alone become the lantern for the Kings of the Nations so that they can walk in the Divine Light and know the God who wraps Himself up in Light, Isaiah 60:3

⭐In Isaiah 60, the Prophet Isaiah was giving a beautiful vision of a future Zion, full of light, life and prosperity, when the city had gone through violence and war and devastation through invasion. It’s desolate roads will have international traffic, the ruins will be rebuilt, wealth of the nations will come in, there will be peace and the Lord Himself will be an everlasting light, everything lost will be restored, Isaiah 60:4-22.

⭐Dear Child of God, Remember this, it is important to know that only when the light Yeshua has come can we arise and take our rightful place. We should not be sitting stagnant in some place, in this Lockdown giving excuses. We got to arise and shine because the light has come so that, God can remake our fractured and broken lives the result of the collateral damage of the pandemic. God’s Floodlights Will Light Up the World Stadium even it is infected with Corona, Isaiah 60:1-3. His Light gives life, John 1:4…Amen🙏

Whom God esteems

Is 66:2 This is the one I esteem, he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word

God clearly explains how to be esteemed by Him. First Be Humble, Second Respect His word It is a simple formula but many of us take a life time to learn it.

The Lord hears those who cry to Him with a humble and contrite heart without a proper inner attitude, sacrifices and ritual observances are worthless.Ps 51:16,17. Those whom the Lord blesses are those who obey Him. Those who chose against the Lord, reap the evil consequences of their choices.
