God and you are a majority, With God on your side, you never lose, you will always win * When you stand with and for God, He fights your battles and gives you victory* It’s your time to shine and step into new levels.

And the Lord said to Joshua, Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand, not a man of them shall stand before you.

Sun stand still over Gibeon, And moon in the valley of Aijalon.

So the sun stood still and the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge upon their enemies.

Joshua 10:8,12,13.
We serve a God who answers prayers, and nothing surprises Him and He doesn’t surprise anyone. The above scripture portion tells us that God has assured, promised and granted victory in advance to Joshua even before the battle had begun, and it also tells us that God answered Joshua’s prayer instantly. The reason why the prayer was answered instantly is, because Joshua had a listening ear and a obeying heart and he was doing the will of God, fighting against the enemies for His children.

Joshua is a type of Jesus in the old covenant, Joshua means Jehovah is my salvation, Jesus came to give us Salvation and rest from our enemies. Joshua means the take over generation, Jesus came and took over that which was lost and redeemed us from the hands of the enemy and gave us victory and rest.

In the new covenant sin, sickness, poverty and death are our enemies. Jesus conquered our enemies on the Cross of Calvary two thousand years ago and said ” It is finished ” and He has given us victory, for sin He has shed His blood and given us Salvation, for sickness He has given us healing, for poverty He has given us His riches, for death He has given us eternal life and He has already given us rest from our enemies. As a believer we don’t fight for victory, we fight from victory, because Christ has already won the battle for us and given us victory and we only have to acknowledge and enforce the victory that Jesus has already given to us, in our present times and circumstances.

The secret of Joshua’s success was that he always listened to and obeyed what God had commanded him to do, he never wavered on doing what God said, he had a listening ear and a obeying heart (Joshua 10:40).

Listening and obeying is of utmost importance in the kingdom of God, when you listen and obey, God will even make the creation work for you. Adam had a listening ear, but he didn’t obey God, so he fell and God pronounced a curse on the ground and it produced thorns and thistles ( Jesus wore a crown of thorns on His head to take away the curse that God had pronounced and that our mind would be renewed ). Saul listened to God, but he failed to obey, God asked him to destroy everything, but he left something and brought back something for himself, so the kingdom was simply taken away from him and given to David a man after God’s own heart.

Joshua listened and obeyed God, when he prayed the sun and the moon stood still and God gave him victory over all the enemies. Jesus while He was on this earth always listened and obeyed the Father’s voice, He always did the Father’s will, He spoke to the storm and it calmed down, He walked on the water, He asked the fish to give up money and it gave miracle money, He delivered the demon possessed, healed the sick and raised the dead back to life. When you listen and obey the voice of God, He will make the creation to work for you. You will do what Jesus did and you will do greater works than Him, because He has gone to be with the Father ( John 14:12), You will lead the lost and perishing souls in the world to Christ.

Today ask God to give you a listening ear and a obeying heart, listen to what He says regarding the times, circumstances and seasons that you are in, listen and obey what He says to you and come out victorious from all your difficult times, seasons and circumstances.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

1 John 4:4.
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

1 John 5:5.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13.
Heavenly Father thank You for the word, thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. Lord give us the grace to have a listening ear to hear and a obedient heart to obey and practice Your word and come out victorious from all the difficult times, seasons and circumstances that we have and face in Jesus name we ask and pray.
