🎉Celebrate Jesus’ victory🎊

Mathew 28:1-10

🎊 After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
🎊 And right in the midst of an earthquake an angel appears, and “His appearance was like lightning…
🎊 He rolls the stone away from the entrance of the tomb, and sits upon it!
🎊 And their fear turned to joy, and they hurried to tell the disciples what they had seen and heard.
🎊 Then, as they hurried, Suddenly Jesus met them. ‘Greetings,’ He said.
🎊 What a moment!
🎊 No wonder the Scripture says, They… clasped His feet & worshiped Him.
🎊 They were filled with joy!
🎊 They were celebrating His resurrection!

I. ON THE CROSS, JESUS WON THE VICTORY OVER OUR SIN

💞 Love is stronger than hate, and righteousness will triumph in the end.’

Isn’t that the resurrection message?
💞 Though sin is all around us, we’re not helpless, for on the cross Jesus paid the price for our sins, and won the victory for you and for me.

II. IN HIS RESURRECTION, JESUS WON THE VICTORY OVER DEATH

◾️ Death is no respecter of persons.
◾️In our culture, if we have money, power, position, or prestige, we can get whatever we want!
◾️ But death doesn’t care.
◾️ It strips away all those trappings and says, “You’re just like everybody else.
◾️ May be that’s why so many people fear death.
◾️ Death is also a sneaky enemy.
◾️ It often comes unannounced, without warning.
▪️It snatches babies.
▪️It takes children.
▪️It strikes down people in the prime of life.
◾️Death is also our most persistent enemy. ◾️It constantly pursues us.

*♥️ LIFE LESSONS *

🎉 The resurrection proclaims that Jesus has won the victory over death.*
🎉 Jesus’ resurrection is called, “…the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep…” *- it means that *Jesus is just the first to be raised from the dead, never to die again. *
🎉 He paved the way for us and He says, “Come and follow me.”
🎉 We’ll come out of that grave because Jesus Christ came out of His grave.
🎉 The Bible says that death has been swallowed up in victory.

Let me quote a well known hymn:
Vainly they watch His bed, Jesus my Savior!
Vainly they seal the dead, Jesus my Lord!
Up from the grave He arose, with a mighty triumph o’er His foes;
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign,
He arose! He arose! Hallelujah! Christ arose!

*IN THAT GREAT GETTING UP MORNING WE SHALL RISE, WE SHALL RISE‼️
