You are a man of war!

Numbers 1:3
From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

14 times it’s mentioned in this chapter “all that are able to go forth to war in Israel”.

God created man in His own image and likeness. God gave him dominion over everything. It was God’s plan that man should reign with Him.
Adam and Eve enjoyed the presence of God and had fellowship with Him. The earth was blessed and no curse was seen in it. There was no enemy and perfect peace was ruling. But when he ate of the forbidden fruit, he lost all the blessings of God and the dominion and became weak. The earth also came under a curse (Gen 3:17-19) and satan became the prince of this world.

➡️God is almighty (that’s God indeed)
➡️Satan is strong in this world but (because man gave room for him)
➡️Man is the ultimate looser because of his transgression.

But the merciful God did not leave the man to his fate. He did not lose His vision concerning man. He didn’t want him to remain weak. He wants him to be strong to overcome the enemy the satan. He’s determined to restore all the blessings which he lost in the garden of Eden. He wanted man to reign with Him in the millennium and for ever in eternity.

Beloved, God wanted teach His people how to make war and overcome the enemy, for that reason He gave them for bondage in Egypt and lead them through wilderness. Now the children of God are not weak as they were in Genesis, Exodus and Leviticus. Now they are strong, mighty, valiant and warriors.

The Lord is a man of war and the Lord is His name (Ex15:3)
St. Paul says: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
If God be for us who can be against us!

The difficulties, hardships, trials, temptations, sicknesses and problems you come across in your life are not to destroy you but to strengthen you.

Be strong in the Lord!
You are more than conqueror!

Stay Blessed 😊

VERSE OF THE DAY 📜

📖
“The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.” – Numbers 2:2
📖

In Numbers 1 we saw that the tribes were numbered for battle, and here in Numbers 2 we find that they are numbered for the purpose of worship. When we read through this chapter we notice that on the east side there were three tribes, on the west side there were three tribes, on the north side there were three tribes, and on the south side there were three tribes. This meant that all twelve tribes of Israel were organized around the Tent or Tabernacle of worship.

There were two groups of equal size and then two more groups, one of which was larger and one that was smaller. From a point of view from above, the camp arrangement must have looked like a cross. Even 1400 years before the Messiah came the shape of the cross, which would bring salvation, was already a part of worship. Notice that God was making the Tabernacle, which was the place of worship, the center of the life of His people.

We become like, and can even begin to look like, whatever we worship. The good news is if we will take time to worship our God every day, we will become more and more like Him. Worship is a beautiful and necessary thing in the life of every believer. This was true in the Old Testament believers’ life, and it’s still true today for the New Testament believers’ life.

PRAYER 🙏
Heavenly father thank you for the word you have given us. LORD we do declare and recognize that You are the only one who is worthy of our worship everyday in our life. Receive our gratitude and praise, and we ask that You would conform us a little more to Your image this day. In Jesus name we pray,
Amen
