Psalms 33:22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.

We don’t know who wrote this psalm. It is sandwiched between two psalms of David, so perhaps he wrote it.

This Psalm is a praise psalm.

Here we see that the Psalmist had complete faith, trust and hope in his Mighty God.

There are many places in Scripture where faith, hope, and love are intertwined.

We cannot have faith without hope, or hope without faith, and both our faith and our hope are anchored in the unfailing love of God.

David lived a life full of stress and difficulty.
Many times his life seemed hopeless; but … he would also know that God was with him.

Let’s see what David had to say about hope in the Psalms.
“When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.”. Psalm 94:19
“Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone.” Psalm 33: 22
“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!” Psalm 43: 5

In this pandemic time, the word HOPE is one we use frequently.

We hope the virus will decide to die out – likely wishful thinking.
We hope a vaccine will be developed sooner rather than later.
We hope we will stay healthy if we have to go back to work.,
We hope our family will stay safe.
We hope to see family and friends again soon.
We hope restrictions will be lifted soon.
We hope we’ll come out of this okay financially.
We hope sooo much!…………………..

One of the biggest problems we have in the world today is there are so many people who have lost hope.
There seem to be so many hurts, problems, sicknesses, troubles, financial woes, family problems, world issues, political concerns, etc.

It seems the world has no hope.

Believe me friends….. *Apart from God, it is an awful, hopeless place.
But with God’s help, we can make it.

I want you to know that whatever situation you find yourself in at this moment, there is hope.

We may not be able to see or feel the hope, but it is there for us.

HOW DO WE FIND THE HOPE?

There is only one place where hope can be found, and that is in Jesus Christ.

Pray out loudly …Tell these words every day.
…… . the words of hope into our life and our situations.

“I HAVE HOPE!
MY HOPE IS IN THE LORD!…… I WILL BE STRONG AND WAIT ON THE LORD.
I TRUST GOD WITH MY LIFE AND THE LIFE OF MY FAMILY.

What is our need today?

Is it for a financial blessing,!!!!!!!!!
………. healing in the body,!!!!!
……….. a new job,!!!!!!!!!!! …
………. family problems!!!!!!!!!!
Is there someone in your life today that needs encouraging? …….
…………. Whatever it is, take it to Jesus today……

Hope is real.
It comes from GOD!
He has placed it in our heart.

Speak the Words of hope that bring life.
Hope Is Real, just try it.
